This one is from UK mainstay and Ultra Knites Records label founder Mike Sharon and he shows his love of classic US styles from the get-go. 'Body Talk' is a perfect blend of driving drums and balmy, heartfelt pads that swirl with real grace. 'Under The Groove' brings some superb swing to the drums with muttered vocals up top and 'Seduction' is another smooth-cruising and soulful late-night house gem. 'Floating' is another variation on the theme that again encourages you to empty your mind and go with the flow.

It’s October, which usually means we get to celebrate ADE.

Since this is obviously not happening, we felt like stepping up and showing some love to the artistic talent of our scene in a different way. Obviously our beloved scene, and the entire industry surrounding it, has been hit disproportionately hard by measures related to the Corona virus. 

The VBX CODE project is our first real step into the world of Bandcamp, after having made our back catalogue of releases available digitally not too long ago. VBX CODE is going to be a series of digital only samplers,  available through our Bandcamp page. The tracks featured represent the VBX vibe as well the kaleidoscope of sounds we love and miss so much.

All of the profit made of these tracks will be divided equally and exclusively across the artists involved.This means we won’t be taking anything as a label, in the hope that our platform will amplify the reach of the creators involved.

We are all in this together and we will get out of it together!

Dutch minimal/deeptech/fusion artist Joren Edwards is back with some new material; “Awareness E.P.”

A mental state achieved by focusing on one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and physical sensations. “Awareness’ offers you a 7 minute cut where you can be mindful about what you hear and feel.

Inspired by the Romanian minimal sounds, the Dutchie gains support from artists like Priku, Gescu, Arapu and Raresh. After releases in 2020 on amongst others Moss Co, PIV and VBX, this is yet another EP not to miss.
