One of original founders of East London brand Point back in 2015 - Marlie began her journey immersed in London’s vibrant house and techno community. Cutting her teeth by performing at warehouse and woodland raves as well as institutions like Fabric & Egg London.

An inevitable return home to Australia’s East coast in 2016 was a new opportunity, and alongside gracing respected city nightspots she created her project Roots. Singularly Voigtmann and John Dimas have been major players on the underground house and techno scene for some time, with their respective labels Subsequent and Elephant Moon both doing important work for the more electro leaning end of the spectrum. They have of course joined forces with devastating effect and the result is VO1GT.M4S – a back to back that combines both artists’ deadly skills both in the studio and in the DJ booth. We’ve dug through our archives, and thought long and hard about the perfect pick to get this series off the ground. Trust us, this was not an easy choice. 

Who better to get the ball rolling than our brilliant resident, a pivotal figure of the Amsterdam underground and a staple of house music’s current international scene, Reiss. This set of his during VBX at Shelter, in November last year, had us all in awe.

Back in November 2022, Dyed Soundorom and Gene On Earth performed a stirring 3 hours long back-to-back in our Room 01. Along the way, the two protagonists deliver seamless transitions one after the other. Effortlessly.

Forging a voyage through house and beyond, the recording set is intuitively filled with flickering sounds and stripped-down grooves, as seductive as we like. Sometimes brainy yet made to make you move, it’s not your average artist combo. Nuggin’ it up!

Olga Korol's exploration of sound began in Odessa in the early 2000s, where she developed an innate curiosity for musical patterns. Through local grunge and trip-hop scenes, she eventually found her way to electronic music and immersed herself in records, playing at major venues in Ukraine, including the renowned (but now sadly defunct) Kazantip festival.

Best known for her work at the Body Parts label, the platform has showcased music from an astutely chosen range of guests over the years. Now based in Berlin (where she’s been residing for the past eight years), Olga is renowned both for her eclectic and a DJ as well as her ability to pick the right tune at the right time. Never afraid to challenge her audience, she’s a most welcome guest for our Ukraine Series mix, and her mix rounds off the series with serious aplomb. After our first spontaneous and second instantly connecting B2B, we were invited by Doel Festival in Belgium September 2022, which was held in a deserted ghost town just a few kilometers from Antwerp. 
It was a very rainy day, but still many people had come out to dance :) 
We felt inspired by the energy of the location together with the stormy weather, and went for tracks that resonated with the vibe and amazing crowd we played for.

We are really happy to have found each other, blending our own styles together, while connecting our musical and personal journeys <3

Aldo, the new alias, conceals the collaborative efforts of two talented artists: Lowris and Adema. United by a deep friendship and a shared passion for music, this dynamic duo injects a fresh energy into the scene.

For the past decade, Lowris has captivated audiences worldwide as an international touring artist. Prior to the unfortunate closure of the renowned Concrete club in Paris, he held a residency there, gracing the decks alongside some of the most esteemed figures in the industry. In 2013, he founded his own label, Aeternum Music, and has also released tracks on esteemed imprints such as Minibar and Nervmusic.

Since making his debut in 2010, Adema has been steadily making his mark on the electronic music scene. With his Full Scale project, he showcases his unique minimalistic sound in Belgium and France, garnering increasing recognition and acclaim. Building on his accomplishments, he has been a resident at Brussels' esteemed C12 club since 2018.

Now, Lowris and Adema have joined forces to collaborate on Adema's Full Scale project. Together, they have embarked on an exciting new venture—a vinyl imprint dedicated to breathing new life into this project. Anticipation is building as their inaugural release, featuring Olivier Romero with a remix by Tripmastaz, is set to hit your favorite record stores at the end of the summer. Already supported by influential artists like Raresh and Dyed Soundorom, this release is highly anticipated by music aficionados across the scene.
