It’s hard to believe that I posted five years ago about picking up a new record collection from Italy. For those interested in hearing a little (or quite long) story on the background of it, I will post about it in the comments on YouTube. I will also attach some photos & videos of the collection and it's condition on Instagram.

TL:DR Here’s a mix of about 20 or so vinyls that were found in an Italian record collection that was purchased in early 2019. This mix ranges of mostly house, deep house & tech house, and a bit of surface noise. This is a small showcase into what the collection had. If you have a notable story on finding a certain record or vinyl collection, please share it in the comments as I (and I'm sure others) would love to hear, enjoy!

A Dive Into The Italian Collection [90's Italian DJ Record Collection]

As the Reptilian Mixes saga keeps spreading through multiple timelines and parallel universes, the 12th episode is a crossover special: we are happy to welcome our long-time friend and canine inspiration @admo to the series, from the Blood of the Veine crew @ordinateuf. 

Through years of musical meanderings, we’ve been lucky to witness firsthand the hard work Adrien has dedicated to his music. You may discover the wise man through his numerous releases, his rolling DJ sets, or his now world-famous live act, but one thing is sure: Admo has developed a recognisable and admirable sound signature that hooks you once and forever. Our guy is doing it all and giving everything he’s got.

For the closing of Phase 4, Dr. Cortex aka Admo is serving us a sexy and intense session filled with signature grooves from his Grenoble hometown. 3.About the podcast, can you tell us the story behind the mix?

It's a collection of a few of my favorite tracks at the moment. I've tried to show the some of the different faces and moods techno has to offer and it's a pretty hypnotic affair. There's a few BALANS exclusive previews in there from Staffan Linzatti, Cadans and Dars. How I got my hands on those? I'm connected ;-)


4.What gear did you use to make the Balans podcast?

I 'cheated' with Ableton this time.


5.What do you have in store for us (gigs/releases) the coming months?

I have a few liveshows coming up in Helsinki and Have A Nice Day festival and I am preparing the Fourth and Fifth Trip for the fall. September and november is what I'm aiming for. Plus I've signed my first original to another label: Theory Records from Ben Sims. Also made a remix for him that will come out before the summer + more remixes are forthcoming on Bastardo Electrico and ON Records.
