I grew up listening to the radio or better said, the radio grew me musically, infected me with a visceral need to select the music I loved and tape it on cassettes. We don't know when we met Moris - we call him JR - but it must be at a party, or more likely at an after party. If you never met him, you can easily meet the bear-sized young man behind the turntables of an afterparty, playing funky records you never heard of. Although the young JR is "sympa sans plus", he became one of our friends, don't ask us how or why, we don't know. He is the type of guy who comes to the party thinking of what should be in the "baaaag" for the afterparty. This podcast is a quick dive in Moris' current record bag: a fine blend of tech house, synth pop, and electro funk.

The Lizecast is a monthly episode representing our desires in sound as a label and artist collective. Each episode features a one to two hours sound conglomerate by one of our befriended producers and djs or by ourselves.

Dylan Thompson is originally from Widnes which is a little town just outside Liverpool. He studied Geography at Leeds University and moved to Berlin last year. He told us that he had just graduated and didn't really fancy moving to London. But moving closer to the scene and the music he passionately loves was definitely on his agenda. 

So Berlin it was, also due to the fact that he had a few friends living here already which made the decision easier for him. Josh - who is one of them friends - used to throw a regular night at Chalet so he also got to play quite a lot right from the start. 

These days he often teams up with Matthew Unicomb aka Preesh Mendez and Philip Kearney who run a party called "The Buff Dance", a beautiful hang out with exceptional music, mostly at Club der Visionaere or Hoppetosse.
