Made this one with Sedna after he posted a short demo clip on his story. I instantly fell in love with the idea and asked for the stems. We bounced it back and forth a bit and ended up with this playful, glitchy house track. Lots of chopped vocals, weird little synths, and some crunchy textures that we had a lot of fun messing with. Hope you enjoy! :)

Petrichor” is the latest release from Norwegian producer V. Christie, a glitchy, experimental UK Garage track laced with emotion, crisp drums, and intricate sound design. Drawing inspiration from the sonic worlds of Four Tet and Burial, the track is brought to life with V. Christie’s own signature twist: warped textures, ear candy, and a sense of raw spontaneity. 

The track was originally created for live performances, and much of its energy comes from improvised sessions with MIDI controllers and analog synths. Instead of building everything inside a DAW from the ground up, parts of Petrichor were captured live, then chopped, layered, and pushed into new shapes.
