After growing up in Gran Canaria in the south of Spain, VCO resettled to the cold industrial environment of Berlin, which was more suitable for his signature sound of unsettling ambiances and hammering percussion. Both sound techincian and electronic music purist, VCO's uncompromising approach has taken him to play at venues like Tresor and has also let him release on labels such as Monolith Records or Subsist. His versatility and his mixing skills allow him to play downtempo atmospheric opening sets on the one hand, and banging closing sets on the other. Enjoy this wild ride.

Después de pasar su juventud en Gran Canaria, sur de España, Artik se hundió en la fría atmósfera industrial de Berlín. El ambiente inquietante y la percusión martillante rompen los ritmos que definen a Artik como artista. Técnico de sonido y amante de la música electrónica más purista. Ha jugado en lugares como Tresor Berlin, con su sonido intransigente. Su música también fue lanzada en etiquetas como Monolith Records, COUM o Subsist.

Bien conocido por sus habilidades de mezcla y composiciones electrónicas complejas; Artik es igualmente experto en la creación de juegos de apertura atmosféricos downtempo que lo golpea a través de conjuntos de cierre enérgicos, rotos y fuertes.

Desde sus primera  New Faces en el poderoso Tresor en junio de 2015 y jugando muchas veces los fines por semana, en agosto de 2018 Artik comienzó a organizar sus propias noches en el club.

Hailing from Gran Canaria, southern Spain, Guillermo Rojas, aka Artik found inspiration in the cold atmosphere of Berlin. Unsettling ambience and hammering percussion break up the rhythms that define Artik as an artist. 

Sound Engineer, lover of the most purist electronic music, resident DJ at Tresor Berlin and a prominent member of the infamous Same Bitches crew, Artik has captivated audiences with his uncompromising sound and impeccable mixing skills. His performances at Tresor and other esteemed venues have solidified his reputation.

Well knowing for his mixing skills and complex electronics compositions; Artik is equally adept at creating downtempo atmospherical opening sets as slamming it out via energetic, broken beat or floor to the floor closing sets.

In June 2015, Artik made his first appearance as part of the New Faces series at Tresor, marking the beginning of his fruitful relationship with the iconic nightclub. Since then, he has graced the decks countless times, captivating audiences with his seamless transitions and electrifying performances. 

In August 2018, Artik took his passion for curating exceptional experiences to the next level by hosting his own nights, offering an immersive journey into his sonic realm.  
In 2019, Artik presents his second official live set, representing Tresor, at the renowned SuperBooth festival.  

Venturing into new sonic territories, Artik has embarked on a subproject named VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator). Embracing his love for electro, acid, drum and bass, hip hop, and 90s UK bass, .With Releases on Moral Standard, a sub label of Falling Ethics and Same Bitches records, VCO continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, defying conventions and captivating audiences with his experimental and groundbreaking sounds.

In 2023, Guillermo joins forces with Annalise Van Even, also known as Nana, to embark on their new project called "A Serpent's Lullaby." This partnership ignites his inspiration to explore and expand his skills in uncharted sonic territories, including ambient soundscapes, textured sound design, and other innovative elements and techniques. Together, they have brought this project to life.
