2021. What a year it's been. On the 1st January 2021, Influenced Records was born. A brand new independent Techno label based out of London, UK. Fast forward 12 months and here we are, on New Years Eve, closing the year with a compilation of music released on our beloved label.

This 2021 compilation is the first in a forthcoming series of annual compilations, summarising the year gone by with 1x track from each release, and a few remixes for good measure. This edition is 18 tracks strong, which we hope gives you an insight into the diversity of our sound in 2021.

An album constructed by our artists, for the fans. To anyone who has bought or listened to our music, thank you SO much for all your support this year, it really does mean the world, and we honestly couldn't have done it without you. This ones for you.

This is only the beginning for Influenced Records, just you wait to see what we have in store.

Our Allien leader returns to the UFO bringing with her fresh auditory space signals. Ellen Allien's latest EP on her UFO Inc imprint marks the sixth release from the label and features four original cuts from the pioneering Berliner. As you may expect from Ellen, the release is packed with raw emotion, rave motifs and unrelenting energy in her own inimitable style.

'Rosen' kicks things off merging melodrama and emotive atmospherics followed by 'N2020', a pounding techno stomper. The EP closes with two versions of 'KCKC'. Firstly, it's the 'Epic Mix', then the original version. KCKC became Ellen's personal anthem of her balcony sets during covid lockdown.

23.4 stands for dubtechno. The french producer from northern france has been producing for over 10 years and launched his dub techno project 23.4 in 2020. His productions are very reminiscent of 90s old school dub techno. For Entourage Concept he produced a 4 track EP, very dubby, very raw, an absolutely successful EP that should be part of every dub set.

The title track "Bleu" is fast and driving. With perfectly placed chords and lively drums, it's a fantastic track that you can always add to your mix.

HEX009 "Anarock 19" is the TechnoMetal precursor release.

This EP is the maximum expression of the current intention of Paolo Ferrara and Lorenzo Raganzini to fuse Techno with Heavy Metal and Rock, under the name of a new post-apocalyptic, raw, metallic and distorted genre, which they decided to call "TechnoMetal".
