Serendipity

Veal Chair got its start in the late nineties, playing locally in the Bay Area. Their music blended various influences spanning underground heavy metal, stadium rock and 17th century classical composition. Despite frequent name changes and an almost constantly shuffling line-up, the band maintained a devoted following and enjoyed moderate local success and popularity. 

Infusing melodic guitar hooks and pulverizing rhythms with elements of classical music and subversive‘80s rock, intertwining arena-ready vocals with cryptic lyrics, Veal Chair is quickly establishing itself as a veritable tour-de-force in the Midwest. The band members are themselves uncompromising rock fans, set on defying conventions- melding metal, hard rock and stoner-rock with stadium-sized riffs. Gripping vocal melodies soar over melodic guitar lines propelled by a destructive undercurrent of bass and punishing drums. Veal Chair’s dynamic and lengthy sonic concoctions loom large in live settings, aptly complemented by their energetic, commanding presence both on and off stage.
