Better late than rushed, right...?

This song has such a great melody, who knew flipping Zelda's theme backwards would make something so good? It had it's challenges, mainly that it's in 3/4 and that makes it harder to slap but I think I managed! I chose instrumentation designed to be a balanced mix of symphonic and electronic to keep the original epic feel. I played around with tempos a lot this time around too which made for some dramatic effects. This game was great on the Wii, and this theme really stuck in my head since then. I know I know… it’s not a SNES remix? I’ve been playing Odyssey and man is it good (with great tunes to boot!), so I figured I would do a remix on the side of my favorite tune from the game. The original features a jazz blues vibe, and I wanted to put my Drum and Bass twist on it. I honestly wasn’t expecting this kind of a song on a level like the Wooded Kingdom, and I wanted to keep that sense of freshness when you hear this in the level. Hope you guys enjoy this little diddle <3

Get your nostalgia goggles on, cuz this funky happy song will blast you all the way back to 2003! This is still one of my favorite Mario Karts to date, because it was so unique and fun with friends :D

I wanted to keep the racing level vibe and the overall structure rather simple. I focused on mixing, sound quality and maximizing b u m p. The melody speaks for itself, so I didn't really want to change it too much here.
