This is my first collab with Player 2, and he was a boss ass bitch to remix with! He knows what he's doing in the remix department for sure. With my phat beats, sound design and mixing, and his composition/mastering, I think we make a pretty dank team. When Player 2 approached me with this collab idea, I got pretty excited and just kinda ran away with it! I think the drop has just the perfect blend of our two styles.

Xengir thought this song needed some love and I loved it alright ;) This also happens to be my loudest song so far, but I think YT and Spotify will squash it down lol. It's also randomly the first time I've made anything with an "acid" sounding lead? I wanted to make a punchy, dancy track with some weird growls mixed in. I know I know… it’s not a SNES remix? I’ve been playing Odyssey and man is it good (with great tunes to boot!), so I figured I would do a remix on the side of my favorite tune from the game. The original features a jazz blues vibe, and I wanted to put my Drum and Bass twist on it. I honestly wasn’t expecting this kind of a song on a level like the Wooded Kingdom, and I wanted to keep that sense of freshness when you hear this in the level. Hope you guys enjoy this little diddle <3

"Tal Tal Heights" is my addition to the album, and it was just so much fun to remix. I remember going to the mountain range as a kid just to hear this melody! I thought it would be nice to speed things up a bit with a DnB/Ska type groove. I also managed to accidentally drop the bass pretty hard in the middle lol. This is also my first loopable piece, make sure to put this one on repeat to try it out ;D
