Kirby Remix - Big Boss Bash [Boss Medley]

Better late than rushed, right...?

This song has such a great melody, who knew flipping Zelda's theme backwards would make something so good? It had it's challenges, mainly that it's in 3/4 and that makes it harder to slap but I think I managed! I chose instrumentation designed to be a balanced mix of symphonic and electronic to keep the original epic feel. I played around with tempos a lot this time around too which made for some dramatic effects. This game was great on the Wii, and this theme really stuck in my head since then. Zelda - Skyward Sword: Ballad of the Goddess (Vector U Remix)

THIS IS THE COLLAB OF THE AGES. My lord, this might just be my favorite collab that I've been a part of so far! I've never seen a faster, more efficient turnaround with 3 people. We were all on deck, and the musicianship was on fleek. All of our remix styles are represented here beautifully. Player2's amazing house-style beats, NoteBlock's gorgeous orchestral arrangements, and of course, my dastardly wubs! I think we all felt like we contributed what we wanted to this project, and it's gonna be hard to top this one. I really hope you enjoy this one, cuz there's something here for everyone!

"Tal Tal Heights" is my addition to the album, and it was just so much fun to remix. I remember going to the mountain range as a kid just to hear this melody! I thought it would be nice to speed things up a bit with a DnB/Ska type groove. I also managed to accidentally drop the bass pretty hard in the middle lol. This is also my first loopable piece, make sure to put this one on repeat to try it out ;D

Zelda - Link's Awakening: Tal Tal Heights (Vector U Remix)

This one was an absolute pleasure to make, and I hope you can tell by listening! Such a classic song calls for a badass remake, and I hope I did just that. It started off as a chill house song but kind of ended up being complextro as well, and it works somehow haha. The castanets were a key component to this piece, giving it that spicy latin feel while still maintaining that EDM goodness. Enjoy this birthplace of Ganondorf!
