ดูจริตนิสัยเรา 
ถ้าเราเป็นพวกโลภมาก อยากมาก เรียกว่าตัณหาจริต 
สติปัฏฐานที่เหมาะกับพวกตัณหาจริตก็คือ ดูกายหรือเวทนา 
ถ้าพวกเจ้าความคิดเจ้าความเห็น เรียกว่า พวกทิฏฐิจริต 
สิ่งที่เหมาะสมก็คือจิตตานุปัสสนาและธัมมานุปัสสนา 

อุบายในการปฏิบัตินี่หลากหลาย นับจำนวนไม่ถ้วน 
เรียกกุศโลบาย อุบายที่ฉลาดในการฝึกกรรมฐาน 
อุบายนั้นทางใครทางมัน 
แต่หลักของการปฏิบัติมีทางเดียวที่พระพุทธเจ้าสอน
คือ อริยมรรคมีองค์ 8 ไม่มีทางที่สอง
แต่ในอริยมรรคแต่ละตัวๆ มันก็มีวิธีที่จะพัฒนาขึ้นมา 
อย่างสัมมาสติทำอย่างไรเราจะเกิดสติ 
บางคนเกิดสติเพราะเจริญกายานุปัสสนา 
บางคนเกิดสติเพราะเจริญเวทนานุปัสสนา 
บางคนเกิดสติเพราะเจริญจิตตานุปัสสนา 
บางคนก็ขึ้นธัมมานุปัสสนา 
พอสติถูกต้อง สมาธิที่ถูกต้องก็เกิด 
ถ้าได้สัมมาสติเมื่อไหร่ ก็ได้สัมมาสมาธิควบกันมาอย่างนั้น 
แล้วทำให้มาก เจริญให้มาก 
ต่อไปก็สัมมาญาณะ ความรู้ถูกความเข้าใจถูกก็เกิดขึ้น 
มีความรู้ถูก มีความเข้าใจถูกเกิดขึ้น ก็เกิดสัมมาวิมุตติ เกิดมรรคเกิดผล
