"Farewell Sweet Girl" is the first release from Vedas Toronado. The song is about the loss of innocence in a world that seems too harsh to overcome. It's a heavy tune with lots of dynamics: big riffs, epic choruses and easy going parts. It has reminiscences of Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots and other bands that were big influences for Vedas Toronado.

"Plus Ultra" is the second release from Vedas Toronado. This song is very intimate but delves into something that haunts many people: What's the purpose of life? What's beyond routine and duties?. This one is a classic alternative/post-grunge song with quiet and heavy parts. It has reminiscences of Nirvana, Foo Fighters and other bands that were big influences for Vedas Toronado.

Halo is the third release of Vedas Toronado. It is a dense track with heavy riffs that plunges into a world where the main character, apathetic and passive, lets the current wash him away. There is an inner search for something more, something transcendent but seemingly remote and inaccessible. The path taken ends up showing him that "waiting for his life is not his life".

Vedas Toronado - Halo

Vedas Toronado is a rock band born in Uruguay, a quiet small country south of the south. Mildness is what best defines this nation, sometimes for good, sometimes for bad... In Uruguay it's not easy to make a living from music, you'll need a job to survive in the early days. In spite of everything, these guys never quitted their passion: music.

All four musicians came from different places and barely knew each other before starting this project. However, it all fit together amazingly, like never before. They didn't receive much support at the beggining and many thought they were mad for trying to make a living from music away from Uruguay and in a foreign language. Of course, these stubborn lads didn't gave up and kept doing what they felt was right.

The band takes influences from grunge, metal and hard rock bands like Nirvana, Guns n' Roses, Soundgarden, Metallica, Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots.
