This few lines of text in this tune come from the novel The pit and the pendulum, written by Edgar Allan Poe.
Was it a plan to make music with this text? No, absolutely not. I wanted some text on the music I was making, but I did not have any lyrics yet. The first thing I saw on my desk was the Selected Writings Pinguin Pocket by Edgar Allen Poe. I used the text on the page where it fell open; page 262 in the 1977 edition. The plan was to make some lyrics for it later, but I stopped working on this, so I didn't. But now, after a few years, I think, why not call it a song the way it is. So here it is, ready for the world, I hope you like it.

C’est une quête qui deviendra bientôt essentiel, universel
Les guerres, la famine, les épidémies enfin bref, tout ce bordel, cruel et sans cervelles
Notre si belle planète bleue a vraiment besoin de soutien, un grand coup de nettoyage de printemps
De fée, d’elfes, de lutins, de gnomes, des êtres évolués qui ont su traverser l’espace et l’infini du temps

Avec le temps, apparemment trop serré, je n’rentre plus dans la cage
Aussi j’espère que vous me comprendrez, pardonnerez mes écarts, mes folies car j’ai volontairement coupé le lien, en libérant l’otage
L’autre soir j’ai très bien senti monter l’agonie, puis l’orage

Demain peut être

“Summer of 85” tells the story of a guy who stumbles across some old photos of his old girlfriend and first true love. He begins to reminisce about their special time spent together during the summer of 85, and wishes that he could turn back time and reconnect with his first love after all these years. This song was mixed by Wayne Killus and mastered by Robyn Robbins who was founding member of Bob Seger's- The Silver Bullet Band. Stephen has been a 6x Grammy Awardee and has won over 50 Gold and Platinum records throughout his career journey that spans 5 decades now.  As of February 26, 2025, this song was No. 21 on the Euro Indie Network Music Chart list and No. 8 on The World Indie Top 100 Music Chart list.
