These are two short beat compositions that demo the analog drum-synthesizer sounds of my 1980s vintage Drumfire DF-500. The DF-500 is a fully analog 5-channel synth whose sounds can be triggered with its included piezo trigger pads which can be attached to anything you want to hit, or to any gate/velocity voltage trigger source. In these demos, I used an Arturia Beatstep pro to compose the beat sequences and trigger the DF-500.

My first full song, a very rough cut, mix captured straight off my Behringer UFX1204 mixer. Not perfect, but I just don't care! :)

Created featuring a vintage Korg EX-800 (the boxy cousin of the Poly 800) with a Korg Volca Kick, a Sonic Potions LXR drum machine, an Arturia BeatStep Pro sequencer, a DOD FX64 Ice Box Stereo Chorus effect pedal, and an EarthQuaker Devices Avalanche Run Reverb & Delay pedal. NO computer or DAW was used whatsoever.
