Background for this song:

I played with the DC area based Northern African band Gibraltar. The members were from all over. Algiers, Morocco, Puerto Rico, and Sudan. Even though our backgrounds are different when we play music it is like we were one. The music is very happy. Our audience is generally pretty mixed. What often happens when we play is that little by little everyone starts dancing no matter what part of the world they are from, what race, what ethnicity, their dancing skill levels, they all start dancing. I find it fascinating to watch. When this happens I feel like we are all united by the common thread of music. This was the inspiration for this song. I hope the idea comes across. :)
