I plunged headlong into this transparent liquid. The next second, I clearly felt how my body became lighter than a feather. I sank lower and finally crossed the border. Being above the hot liquid gas, lasting to the horizon on all sides, as far as my eyes could see, I didn't feel any heat. The happiness that our technology for instant genome reprogramming works is what filled my consciousness at that moment. As soon as I thought, my body moved forward. I flew without making any movements, controlling my flight with just the thought.

Ahead, through the light from the gaseous surface of the star, blinding me even through protective lenses, I made out the silhouettes of a levitating monolith. Its metal surface was red-hot, but didn't melt or burn. Yes, I was almost there. It was a portal to the Outer World and only now we were able to reach it. With a sinking heart, I touched the surface of the monolith with my fingers that didn't feel the burning metal. Using only my will, I brought upward my transformed flesh, completely preserved by the destroying heat of the surface of the star. The new flesh of a new human. Now it's time to show my face to the Outer World.
