It's been a while since I made new music, so I decided to play around with some ideas.

On My Way Out - Intro Idea

A work-in-progress I'm submitting to the "Kia Creator Contest".

The "Kia Synth" was used to create the sub-bass and another mid-level sound throughout the song.

It definitely needs a lot more work / cleanup, but I wanted to submit before the deadline.  I'll post an update with it mixed, mastered, etc.  Also, the WMA conversion made the treble more shrill, so I'll use WAV next time.

Please note, the official rules state: "Entry must be wholly original to the Entrant".  I'm not exactly sure what that means, but like most songs produced today, I do use instruments from my DAW (Ableton), synth presets (Massive, Kia), and various samples / loops to which I'm licensed (Ableton, Splice, etc.).  However, I am still the "owner" of the Entry.

Nobody Else

Here's tonight's track, sort of a mix of dubstep and chill step.  I had a lot of fun making this one, and it's for people who like to dream.

Hey guys, here's tonight's track.  Unfortunately it is not new, as I have posted this track on an older soundcloud account which I've since discontinued.  The reason for an older track is because I made a mistake last night and had a loud blast into my ear which is still feeling sore.  I will let me ears rest for the night, and upload some previous work.  

Details:  I used an Ableton drum loop for a portion of this, and the woman vocal is Krewella.
