The ever prolific Sublease Music puts out another sublime release, this time handing the floor to combined talents of  Markus Homm, Brad Brunner and AG Swifty. 

Markus Homm is a veteran of the house and tech scene, and a regular at some of the scenes’ foundational venues such as Berghain. His collaborators might have less experience, but bring a whole new flavour to the cooking pot. 

"Connected not only through being part of the same booking agency in Romania (Cyclic), but also through the love for grooving underground  Music, we ended up in the Studio In Bukarest for a few days working on some music. This is the outcome of the session, grooving percussions with the rolling baseline and warm chords and stabs." says Homm.

The Big Con is an urgent, driving slice of stripped down house - the jittery percussion adds a tense edge to the hypnotic groove. The track maintains its energy throughout, with some nice variations and shifting melodic elements. 

Sleeping Dogs is also on the pared down vibe, beginning with a tough kick that eventually opens up into a warm, deep roller.

Sublease is back with three tracks from three relatively new talents, each with their own take on deep, groove-laden house music. 

TERANA kicks things off with Connection, a vibrant deep house track that reflects TERANA’s mission to spread love through music. Rooted in her identity as a producer and vocalist, the track features her own vocals intertwined with driving grooves, hypnotic harmonies and bouncy progressions. 

TERANA was a part of the mixmasters retreat with label boss Steve Bug, along with the Swiss beatmaker Marco Weber who takes up the third track on this release - Stubborn Trip. Created in Ibiza, this track brings a deep, groovy low end and bright, flickering synth stabs, before developing into an expansive and electrifying vibe. 

Wrapping it up is Doomar with a sparkling low slung roller with squelchy synths and an engaging vocal sample.

Markus Homm – What Do They Want (Remixes Chris Carrier , Alex Celler , Carlos Sanchez , Leo Leal & Adrian Garza) 
At an early age Markus Homm was inspired by the sounds that kept him dancing as an early teen. The Romanian born producer has made quite the impression on electronic music since then. Producing since 2006 often alone or with his production partner and fellow Romanian, Mihai Popovichu, Homm’s sound has translated into a unique style of dance music ranging from Deep House to Tech House. Among other collaborations is The Highgrade Disharmonic Orchestra, his latest live project, alongside label colleagues Tom Clark, Todd Bodine, and Dale und Daniel Dreier. The group made an amazing debut in the summer of 2010 at Watergate proving how Homm moves consistently forward and continues his playful exploration of the bond between music and body. 
With successful releases on various labels like Highgrade Records and Diynamic Music, Markus Homm’s Remixes EP on Unike Musik, follows up with 4 re-touches of his latest work for the label. New York’s Mexican Leo Leal & Guadalajara’s own Adrian Garzateam up for an international collaboration on Homm’s Key Frame. The duo’s dripping acid inspired remix reverberates dark bass sounds and pops in filtered doses of dreamy pads on top of glimmering effects. 
Next the french legend, Chris Carrier, takes over remix duties for Homm’s Keyframe Signal, a soaring infusion of polished analog sounds and spunky tech percussion. The Greek producer, turned Londoner, Alex Celler, supplies a stunning rendition of Take Off, as bumping bass and tonal toms ignite this widely deep mover and shaker. 8bit’s Carlos Sanchez polishes off the release with his take on What Do They Want, attracting fans of tougher sounds from the days of vinyl and stomping underground. 
Homm’s dedication and impact has inspired a multi faceted EP with remixes that continue this notorious producer’s legacy through a wide array of deep energy.
