Since Richie Hawtin played this track in his Boiler Room Set on Ibiza, many people have been asking about this Joyce Muniz collab. The track features fresh vocals by Bam (formerly known as MC Baby Bam) from the legendary 90ies hip-hop group The Jungle Bothers (Native Tongues/Zulu Nation). The beat is based around a sample from Kraftwerk's 'It's More Fun To Compute,' and for this version we've actually got full approval from Kraftwerk (yes - guess what). So we're happy to release it now. Hope you dig it too.

Lewis Boardman follows up last year’s thumping “Whoyouwho / Sucker” EP with 2 brand new original tracks. Both have a bouncy, yet a vaguely ominous aura about them, a characterization that has often become synonymous with the Liverpool resident’s production style and DJ sets: “I make music that is suited to me and my style of DJing. Sometimes it’s really deep stuff around 121 bpm and grooves along and then sometimes it’s dark and creepy, in-and-around 125 bpm. But it’s always a true reflection of the music that I’m really into and passionate about.”

Beyond his productions, Boardman has also become a staple in the UK’s underground house scene. He’s DJ’d alongside some of the world’s biggest names (Matthias Tanzmann, Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Yousef) and helped form and facilitate the building of Liverpool as a hub of notable nightlife, throwing club nights during his 13-year (and counting) residency at the iconic nightclub Circus. 'The Isolation Tapes came together accidentally during lockdown. Getting lost in the music-making process was our way to escape the feelings of anxiety and uncertainty which presented themselves with the emergence of Covid. We had no plan beyond escapism, but a cleared schedule gave us lots of time to explore new ideas. After we'd made a few tracks we started to realize the importance of bringing this music together under one project, a musical reference point for this strange period in time, and so the Isolation Tapes was born - a series of singles we made during lockdown whose titles all begin with a different letter from the word: I S O L A T I O N.' -  Audiojack
