Hydroz (aka Hydraulix) is the Miami Electro Bass outfit consisting of AshRock & JimiTheGenius. Together they have been releasing music since the early 2000’s and continue to push their sound till today. Drawing from their childhood influences (2 Live Crew, Debonaire Records, Cut It Up Def Records, MC A.D.E, Dynamix II, etc) to create their own unique hybrid.

With 20+ releases on labels like Kuad, Touching’ Bass, Monotone, Frite Nite, Zone, etc - and currently working on new material set to be released later this year, including a new track in this mix.

As a child of the 80’s Commuter was Inspired by all electronic music he could find; ranging from acid house, EBM, Synthpop, Electro, Rap/Hiphop, New Beat,House, Italo, early Techno and with a particular passion for Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk.

Since his recording debut in 2004 with the song ‘Electrostate of Mind , you can find his music on labels like : Zone, Cultivated Electronics, Skryptöm, Elektrofon, Bass Agenda, AFU Limited, Space Factory, Goog, Citizen and BoysNoize records.

Over the years, he has had the opportunity to remix various artists including Miss Kittin , John Lord Fonda, Captain Mustache or Nomenklatür, and to collaborate on the Roentgen EP with The Hacker.

Hailing from West Palm Beach, Florida, Grow (@adamgrow) is a renowned producer and DJ who embarked on his musical journey in the early 1990s. Founder of CHP Recordings in 2007, his debut vinyl release, "Electronik Milk," gained significant recognition within the electro community. Additionally, Grow co-founded the band Ohverclock alongside Kounterakt from Code Rising, resulting in multiple album releases. Grow's distinctive style encompasses cleverly processed vocals, powerful basslines, and haunting synthesizer elements. CHP Recordings has been ramping up production tenfold as of late adding new artists to their roster, and celebrating repeated success on the Beatport electro chart. ParallaX 005 | GROW

ona:v is a Polish-born DJ, producer and promoter with an ear for textural techno and dark electro. A scientist by day and a DJ by night, the Edinburgh-based artist is an integral figure in her locale, both as a DJ and through event curation.
Having built an extensive track collection for several years, ona:v debuted on Edinburgh’s club circuit in 2019, with bookings across the UK making up her diary since. On home turf, ona:v plays regular gigs in Scotland’s biggest venues, having supported Ben Klock, SLAM, Fjaak, Anne, Isabel Soto, Clouds, EKATA and many others. Outside of Scotland, she closed
for Clouds and Randomer at The Cause, played at London’s Risen and Necropolis Festivals and in Berlin’s Mensch-Meier and About Blank. 2022 saw her Polish debut, and in 2021/22 she streamed from Berlin’s HÖR Radio. More recently, for two years in a row, she headlined the basement stage curated by Sisu at Hidden Door — a prolific visual art and music festival in Edinburgh, and performed multiple times at Scotland’s biggest festival – Terminal V.

In 2020, ona:v founded EPiKA, and started promoting EPiKA’s bi-monthly party called CiRCLE in Edinburgh. Here, she creates a nurturing environment for beginner female and non-binary DJs playing more underground flavours of electronics, with focus on techno. She also garners a radio residency on London’s Threads Radio and is an internal member and a resident DJ with the Sisu crew. Production-wise, she has released techno and electro tracks
on multiple compilations and released her debut EP, Response to the Techno Crisis, on Diffuse Reality in 2022.

It's been 1 year of ParallaX and for the occasion our founder EKATA has recorded a mix with the very essence that encapsulates our soon to be Label and mix series.

EKATA is a London based DJ/Producer + Natural Selection Resident who's productions are characterised by their dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating rhythms and intricate synth work.

With support from the likes of Anthony Rother, Bloody Mary, Dave Clarke amongst others, EKATA's genuine and passionate approach to Electro is something that is rarely matched.

Determined to create music that is unearthly, idiosyncratic and exuding futurism of that of a sci-fi film, she always ensures a story is to be told in each track she produces.
She mainly sticks to the dark and eerie side of Electro in her productions & gigs, where she will take you on a dark and twisted journey through incredibly dystopian, ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections.

ParallaX 023 | FERYNE

XS, aka Jay Fatigate has been a staple in the electronic dance music scene since 1987.  Starting off in New York with Freestyle, Miami Bass, House, Hip Hop, and R&B.  In 1991 he assisted a DJ in New York’s Palladium Night Club when he received his first techno record by recording artist L.A. Style, which wrote, “James Brown is Dead.”  In 1992 he moved to Daytona Beach, FL where he entered the “Florida Rave Scene.”  He began to DJ for the Mad House @ Zonkers in Daytona Beach.  As his talent spread on scene flyers and by word of mouth,  he began to spin and work many bookings in Orlando, Gainesville, Tampa, Tallahassee,  Miami, and Fort Lauderdale, at all major venues.  In 1997 he was signed to “Go Off Productions” and played for major promotional companies such as Culture Productions, and FSOB, traveling the county.  

He retired for 20 years to raise a family in South Florida.  As the pandemic hit, he began to create again.  “I have Returned” was his comeback compilation, streaming now on SoundCloud.  Currently he’s been booked by promoters such as FSOB, Sunshine State of Bass, 808 Life, Frajile Recordings, Theoryon, Culture, and  more.  His unique style of mixing will send you on a journey that you will definitely want more of!

PULSAR 001 | DVS NME

siiio is a Singaporean-born, London-based producer and DJ whose sound draws from the raw energy of Electro, Techno, and Punk subcultures. His work reflects the unique tension of navigating life between two cities, blending industrial soundscapes with Southeast Asian percussion and samples to express a sense of cultural dissonance.

Starting his musical journey as a member of Singaporean emo band Xingfoo&Roy in 2013, they released two LPs and two EPs, and toured across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan.
His DIY ethos, deeply rooted in the punk and emo scenes, continues to shape his approach to electronic music.

siiio’s latest EP, SABO, channels influences from
Russian Electro Punk and EBM, genres he discovered
after relocating to London. Constantly evolving, siiio
pushes boundaries with a sound that reflects his
diverse influences and experiences.

PULSAR 010 | EENDRACHT @ Rooftop ÖND

Co-Accused is the DJ duo of Raymond and Lindsay Green who are long established in Glasgow as label founders and party promoters of the same name. From their notorious basement raves in Club 69 they have played and hosted at most of the city’s best-loved party spots and have built a solid reputation in the Glasgow underground scene. Last year they held their debut takeover of Sub Club with a sell out night hosting Dave Clarke on his Archive One anniversary tour and at the end of 2024 they announced a quarterly residency at The Berkeley Suite. 

The pair know techno and electro inside out, their dynamic ethos and tack for driving up the energy levels as DJs has not only made them firm fixtures on local party line ups but has also taken them to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Liverpool and London. Fuelled by the pair’s devotion to underground club culture, Co-Accused Records is a hot bed of uncompromising club tracks, releasing sounds from the likes of Ben Pest, Luke’s Anger, Fear-E, Human Rebellion, ARA-U and Radioactive Man. To date, the label has been featured in DJ Mag and supported by some of the most respected heads in the game including Helena Hauff, Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke and Slam. 

This year they continue to step out in Glasgow with their regular Berkeley Suite residency, guest spots and some extra special events in the pipeline - keep your eyes on them for more.

UK electro artist Emile Facey, aka Plant43, has built a discography totalling 10 albums and a slew of 12”s on respected scene mainstays CPU, Frustrated Funk, Semantica, Shipwrec, Cultivated Electronics and Trust. Emile is admired by his peers for his unwavering support of electronic music as an artist, DJ and promoter. His productions have been supported by luminaries like DJ Stingray, Helena Hauff, Dave Clarke, Surgeon, Rødhåd, Jane Fitz and Solid Blake and have been aired on BBC Radio 1’s flagship Essential Mix, BBC Radio 6, Rinse FM, Threads, NTS and the Resident Advisor Podcast. Journalist Ben Murphy has called his style “Intricate, melodic and bewitching” while giving him a 9/10 review in DJ Mag. He is a regular guest at Berlin’s renowned techno club, Tresor, who released a recording of his live performance at their 34th anniversary event in March 2025, London’s FOLD and festivals across Europe.

PULSAR 012 | PLANT43

Dust Devices is the experimental electronic music project of Cláudio Oliveira, a composer and
sound designer from Porto, Portugal.
Since his first EP “Spectre Research” he has been blending the rhythmic foundations of Industrial, EBM, Techno and Electro with cinematic textures, atmospheres and synthesized experiments.

He’s been able to showcase his music in multiple national and international venues and events, including the festivals Sonar, Semibreve and Neopop, and as a regular contributor for labels like Zodiak Commune Records, Diffuse Reality, Rapture and Mera.

“Spine Mirror”, his latest full-length album, extends those sonic explorations into a more disso-nant, abrasive and mechanical approach, while breaking down and rearranging the compositional core of those genres.
Without losing sight of the elements that ignite a dancefloor, the narrative and evolving character of the music is the main focus of this project.

PULSAR 014 | MINIMUM SYNDICAT

Electro producer Ara-U began his musical journey in the late ‘90s, playing a pivotal role in developing the underground scene in South America. His early sets fused vinyl and synths, using a hybrid setup of Roland machine drums, turntables, and FX to explore acid and breaks. Now based in the UK for over two decades, Ara-U’ s sound remains rooted in raw analogue electro, showcasing his unrelenting passion for the sound.

As the founder of No Static Automatic (NS/A), Ara-U celebrates the label&#39;s 5th anniversary this year. Founded in 2020 the label has established itself as a respected home for underground electro from across the world. Releases have come from figures from the genre with Ed DMX, Radioactive Man, Kronos Device, Second Storey, Manao and many more. This year there’s more of this ilk to come from Ara-U himself with a collaboration with Ben Pest slated for early 2025, his electro-punk band Return of the Luddites’ debut album this spring as well as his own solo LP at the end of the year.

Ara-U’s own production has not only been released on NS/A but various EPs and tracks have dropped across Avoidant, Censor Music, Co-Accused Records as well as his 2019 collaboration with Radioactive Man ‘Plastic Attack EP’ on Asking For Trouble. His productions and NS/A releases alike have received support from some of the most respected DJs with support from the likes of Helena Hauff, DJ Bone, Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, Mad Miran, Jerome Hill, Alienata, and Solid Blake and has been featured in Resident Advisor, Mixmag Spain and DJ Mag.
As well as putting the finishing touches to his first album, Ara-u has developed a hardware live set that channels his take on analogue sounds - traversing machine funk, driving basslines and dark pads. His live performances are as dynamic and raw as his productions, keeping his music authentic and raw to the core.

Hailing in solitude from the snowy mountains of the northern hemisphere and Electro Capital Gothenburg, Son of Stilleben Records , Dataintrång presents a clean-cut surgical manifestation in memory of the great M. Musters passing, in a one hour format of a live performance featuring a hand of carefully selected sequences, out of Das Musters enormous discography with a few other artists of the electrofunk expression.

Maschine Brennt is the electronic project of Swedish producer Joacim Thenander, active in the scene since the late 1980s. Originally launched in 1991 as a side project to Cultivated Bimbo, Maschine Brennt explores the intersection of man and machine — blending classic ’80s electro aesthetics with modern precision.
After years of producing house, techno, and drum ’n’ bass, the project was revived in 2014 with releases on Plonk, Encrypted Records, Battery Park Studio, Ukonx Recordings, Bass Agenda Recordings, and Connectome Records.
Maschine Brennt has also remixed artists such as The System, Emmon, Kretz, Datapop, and Vogon Poetry, and contributed DJ mixes to Tracklistings, Dark Science Electro, Noise To Meet You, and several editions of Encrypted Transmissions.

PULSAR 020 | ANGEL ATTACK

Alavux is a highly respected electro-techno artistfrom Serbia, known for his fast-paced, tenacious sounds and his dedication to representing the underground music scene in Eastern Europe. 

For over two decades, Alavux has been a driving force in the industry, leading his E75 crew with passion and commitment. In 2015, Alavux released the highly acclaimed "Octagon EP" on BassAgendaRecordings, which received support from industry heavyweights such as DaveClarke.
This release solidified his reputation as one of the true Knights of The Round table of music and gained him notoriety around the world.
Alavux's journey into music production began in the mid-'90s,where he found inspiration in acid, techno, and house music. With early success on his country's national charts with his track "San," Alavux continued to be one of the heavy supporters of the then-nascent "3rdwave" of electro bass and funk music. With a keen sense of staying ahead of the curve, Alavux has created his path in the industry. He draws inspiration from the great pioneers of the past but chooses to adopt their pioneering spirit and innovation rather than their sound and track structures.
This unique approach has garnered him support from industry legends such as JuanAtkins, LaurentGarnier, and DJStingray. Alavux is a visionary and a devout lover of his craft. His discography showcases his ability to seamlessly blend both techno and electro styles with explosive results. With his powerful grooves, Alavux creates a force to be reckoned with on each track he produces. Overall, Alavux is an accomplished artist with a rich history in the industry, and his passion for the music shines through in every release. His dedication and innovative approach to his craft set him apart from his peers. Few authentic Electro producers from the UK can wear the badge ‘legend’ with the same level of justification as Phil Klein aka Bass Junkie. Active since the late 80s, Phil has been peddling his own take on Electro almost constantly, either as a solo artist or as part of numerous collabs with the likes of Dynamix II, Keith Tenniswood (Radioactiveman) and Si Brown (Dexorcist). DJ, remixer, live act, and the man behind the killer Battle Trax label, there is nothing this Junkie hasn’t done. 

With essential releases on labels such as DMX Krew’s Breakin’ Records, Andrea Parker’s Touchin’ Bass, and Billy Nasty’s Elektrix; the Bass Junkie sound spans the old school beats and vibes of the Electro genre’s origins, to the borderline industrial. PULSAR 022 | BASS JUNKIE

A newcomer on the Electro scene, Linnea Mae was introduced to underground electronic music in 2021 while she was living in Prague. She instantly fell in love with Electro, but has since noticed a lack of it being played in scenes across Europe and beyond, which motivated her to finally learn to play it herself earlier this year. Now based in Berlin, she hopes to share the strange and beautiful world of Electro with anyone who will listen.

She is specifically drawn to Electro for not only the way it makes her feel when she hears it and how it ignites a dancefloor - but also for its distinct themes and storytelling that she constantly discovers when finding new tracks. She feels that Electro is so much deeper than how amazing it sounds - it has the capacity to take you on a mission in outer space, make you feel like an alien, show you strange dystopian worlds, is abundant with connections to science and mathematics, and while it can range from deep and complex to silly and unserious - it’s always exciting.

Plena Sound is a sound practitioner and DJ who approaches music as something sacred -  a language capable of communicating in otherworldly ways and invoking a deep sense of awe. She believes that sound can act as a portal, opening pathways to richer connection with ourselves and with those around us.
 
Shaped by electronic music from an early age, and heavily influenced by the spirit of rave culture, her sets are guided by a lifelong devotion to the dancefloor. She gravitates towards journeys that move fluidly between ambient, techno and electro, exploring both the lighter and darker contours of electronic music. Her aim is always to lead the listener through the most interesting terrains.
 
For this mix, Plena Sound dives into the transportive world of electro, offering unearthly textures, broken beats and a distinctive sense of cosmic wonder. Expect acid-flecked basslines and an atmospheric palette that moves with a slightly more upbeat, dancefloor-ready energy than her previous Vela Pulsar episode. The mix unfolds like a tapestry of sounds, layered with textures that feel both familiar and otherworldly.

PULSAR 024 | PLENA SOUND

AKAME is a solo project by Francisca, a DJ representing the underground electronic scene of Valparaíso, Chile. Founder and producer of ROBOTIKA, a club with a distinctive sound that breaks the mold by focusing on the artistic development of DJs and their artistic potential. 

AKAME’s musical selection combines different genres; predominantly club music with layers of electro, electro techno, dark acid house, and techno. 

For this occasion, she wanted to encapsulate and direct her entire electro essence by playing with gloomy and ghetto melodies, creating an atmosphere with acid flashes, heavy bass, futuristic/industrial sounds and sharp but deep percussion, with the intention of creating a contrast of brightness and darkness; a scene of drama, attitude, charm, and mystery.
