𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐋  The Jaguar Warriors (Ocēlōpilli in the Nahuatl language) were the elite soldiers of the Aztec Empire. Unlike the Eagle Warrior , jaguar warriors come from the lower class.
To achieve the rank of Jaguar Warrior, the soldier had to capture 12 opponents alive in two days, from then on he could dedicate himself completely to being a warrior, protecting cities and merchants.
In battle, they were sent to the front of the army, directly attacking the enemy with ferocity. They wore light armor with a jaguar design, and carried the Atlatl spear and the Macuahuit mace .

The warriors believed to possess the ferocity of the jaguar, and represent the night god Tezcaltlipoca .
Being a jaguar warrior was the only way a lower class person could access a better life. Being part of the warrior elite, they had access to the temples, they could drink Pulque and they could have concubines.
They had the task of providing human sacrifices , which were killed in Gladiatory Sacrifice , or in ceremonies by the priests.

Dadirri bedeutet „tiefes, achtsames Zuhören“, eine Form der stillen, respektvollen Verbundenheit mit der Natur, sich selbst und anderen – eine spirituelle Praxis. Es wird manchmal mit „inneres tiefes Zuhören“ oder „kontemplatives Gewahrsein“ übersetzt.
