Tommy Hart (@tommyhartdj) was one of our first resident DJs and a regular selector in the Burned Room. His musical taste spans from funky disco and garage tracks to boppy, hard-hitting house and techno--anything that makes you wag your shoulders and shake your hips is fair game.

This first mix is a grab bag of crowd favorite tracks from the Burned Room as well as recent discoveries getting heavy rotation in his sets, and takes you from opening to closing time in just under two hours.

Their style fuses Latin and classic house, with a sprinkling of Jersey club, garage, and contemporary big room rave tracks that fill out the Main Hall. NYC based KIA (@daviejones_jr + @antwyone-ingram), while most certainly reflective of chaotic times, is a celebratory cauldron of sounds from BIPOC and Queer artists. It is an ode to ballroom, house, and the black and brown tastemakers that inhabit predominantly white techno spaces but are often overlooked, undermined or paid no mind. 

KIA represents sisterhood. She is your good Judy, your good GF, or the queen you KI with on the dance floor and you simply don’t know her name... so you toss her a “what’s good, KIA?” She knows she’s that girl, and you know it too, and you collectively “carry” to celebrate the occasion.
