The third installment in our Fresh Selects Remix Series is a true Pacific Northwest-side connection, with Seattle producer Def Dee flipping a three man posse cut from Portland duo Milc & Andy Savoie's 'Windbreaker' project.  The original already featured two of Def Dee's  closest collaborators, Greg Cypher (of Kung Goo Grip) and La (aka Language Arts) – so it was only right that he be the beatmaker to do the honors for the remix.

Def’s main mix of the track is out now all on platforms – and check back in two weeks for the full maxi-single edition with a bonus remix and unreleased instrumentals

Freebird has been known for his energetic sonic adventures, once again clearly demonstrated by the dancefloor ready Diamonds and The Night. Morri joins in for the title track A New Dawn and shows what happens when 2 talented minds meet, a slow building intro teases the listener before thundering drums and bass propel the track into new territory. Crystals increases the excitement with it's stuttering beats, epic synth drops and experimental blend of Jazz-tinged sounds. We hope these two producers get back to the studio again soon as we are eager to hear what will happen next.

Due to unforeseen circumstances my "Vintage Vignettes" project was never released. The project wasn't able to get mixed because all the files were lost.  I put a lot of work in this joint and I wasn't going to post it because the of the sound quality the lack of sequencing control.  But   It's 2019 and a lot of this material was recorded years ago!  With that being said enjoy! New shit on the way!!!!!!
