Pickets

This is a note-for-note cover of Band On The Run (Paul McCartney and Wings). It was a challenge to myself to play everything in the song and recreate the sounds as closely as I could. I programmed the drums in Logic, and everything else is me: various guitars (including ebow and slide), bass, keyboards, melodica, vocals, and... I think that's everything. Hope you like it!

P.S.: For you Velmont and Turpentine fans, there's an easter egg: a little piece of one of my own songs is hidden in the mix. There was a practical reason for it and I had intended to cut it out, but I kind of liked it, so I turned it way down and left it in. :)

Ventura County California indie pop/indie rock band, Velmont, got together in early 2011. 

The members of Velmont pool together a motley range of influences and has received quite a positive response after playing around the Ventura area and in the Valley and they hope to continue playing in front of audiences, gaining experience, cultivating a following, and further polishing their live act. They also continue to write/record, and are have released their EP.
