Vasileios Metaxas, also known as Velvet Mode, is a distinguished DJ and music producer hailing from the Greek capitol. From the very early age of 15, Velvet Mode embarked on his musical journey, establishing himself as a DJ who would soon make waves not only in Greece but also across the globe. His exceptional ability to seamlessly fuse classic genres like Disco and Rock with a contemporary House music twist, making it a challenge to pigeonhole his distinctive style.

Inspired by artists like Armand van Helden, Roger Sanchez, Deadmau5, Adriatique, and Maceo Plex, Velvet Mode's diverse musical influences have shaped his career. Starting with local radio shows, he quickly ascended to international platforms, including Ibiza Global Radio.
His career reached new heights when he collaborated with Grammy-Nominee duo GOODBOYS on a remix of their track with Vintage Culture, "This Feeling," and performed at Tomorrowland 2022 under Insomniac Records, earning praise from industry legends like David Guetta.
Following his debut at Amsterdam Dance Event for 2023, Velvet Mode is on the path to becoming one of Greece's most influential DJs of his generation.
