From having my mind blown as a kid by all the alien-like-sounds that Noisia was creating, to fulfilling one of my final milestones as I made this remix. This journey of music creation has reached a peak I could only dream of. Explosive gratitude and infinite smiles as I realize that this moment is actually true. That all the hard work and effort I put into myself these past years were leading up to something truly unbelievable. Noisia has been more than an inspiration to me throughout all these years. So this is much more than a dream come true. 

Shibuya Pet Store has been one of the MANY tracks that I adore, and I feel like I gave it my absolute all. The 600 channels in my project will agree with me haha. To be a part of these final closing chapters of Noisia’s legacy is unreal. Much love to the mannen uit Groningen, dankjewel.

For about a year now I always felt like I was frozen or in some kind of stasis. I was constantly having huge waves of writers block and it felt like I had lost all my joy that I got from making music when I first picked up FL Studio in 2017.
I was experimenting a lot both visually and sonically, to create a vision for this project. While I definitely did see some improvements, those were mostly overshadowed by this weird feeling of dread. I found it increasingly hard to make music and to enjoy the process of doing so. I got lost in all kinds of technical details and my creativity suffered greatly because of that. 
One day, I came to the conclusion, that I am the problem. That I am being way too hard on myself and with that I had an important realization:

Making music should be fun and not feel like a chore.

I realized that it's not that serious and making music should be more about having fun, than getting every minor detail right... Still figuring out how to deal with this perfectionism mindset, but I'm definitely getting there and this track brought me one step closer.
I hope that you can enjoy this song as much as I did, when making it! :)
