Twilight Electric was a piece improvised on electric piano at, as the title suggests, around midnight and recorded in early 2021. It is by no means perfect and has had no editing, mastering, or overdubbing done to the track as recorded. However, as it has been sitting in the computer archives for almost a year at this point, I think it's a solid track to close out 2021 in reflective minimalism and even silence. As always, the keyboard playing of Peter Broderick, Nils Frahm, Ben Lukas Boysen, and even the work of Miles Davis associate Chick Chorea or Tim Buckley's guitar/keyboard partner Lee Underwood remains a heavy influence. If nothing else, improvisations like this have taught me that an electric keyboard late at night has almost limitless possibilities.

Paradox is Half Life 2 soundtrack meets Game Boy Advance meets post-classical soundscape ambience. It is the result of my realization that everyone's favorite online chiptune composition website now has extensive reverb, bit crush, delay, and distortion features. Clearly I'm no expert in music theory or composition, but I would like to think myself at least capable of developing ominously distorted drums, an inevitably crumbling atmosphere, and just a bit of melody, and that is what comprises Paradox.

Reflection, much like Paradox, is another long-form track constructed in beepbox. However, unlike Paradox, this one is more of an experiment in melody and, for the first time, vocals(!). A brief FL Studio experiment I developed as a demo using the Sytrus Synth. While making this piece  pictured it as the soundtrack to some Rouge-like RPG where the character is exploring a series of Submerged Caverns. I've had this in my files, as I was unsure if this piece was worthy to be published, but recently, I showed it to Stagnation and he thought it was definitely worthy to be here. Anyways, I developed this in the same day as many other demos, the majority of which will probably never show up here unless I change my mind. In the end, happy 2019 everyone! I'm still trying to get inspired and maybe make something along the lines of The Memory or Innocence again.

Exploring The Submerged Caverns (Ventures in the Last Land)

Finally! After months of wandering through synths, recording and scrapping tunes I've come up with something worthwhile. something so worthwhile I consider it to a sequel to one my most accomplished electronic pieces, Into Memory. Into Infinity takes a more wild and intense take on electronic music, with a sound borderline sci-fi blockbuster or an fps soundtrack. Enjoy!

Ravaged

This is my remix of one of my earlier FL Studio Songs, Into Memory. I put the song into Audacity, messed with effects, clipping and extracting different parts of the audio to form this terrifying monstrosity. The only thing you are hearing that isn't some edited version of the audio from the original is the piano solo at the end. Enjoy!

Roadkill was one of my most challenging experiments. In late November of now last year, me and @Stagnation took to the streets to record an abundance of industrial noises and to build track concepts. This is the final result: a track built entirely off of edited field recordings and vocal samples created on that night. This track also acts as a grand accumulation of my influences: off-the-wall Aphex and Autechre-style IDM, Burial-esque and sometimes Nils Frahm-influenced Ambient, and, surprisingly, the brutal, destructive industrial Hip-Hop of groups such as Death Grips and clipping.  Thanks to @Stagnation for helping contribute concept ideas, recordings, and some amazing sound design for some of the beats and overall mix/master. Special thanks to Gabriel Chavaria for his amazing photography featured in the thumbnail, check out his amazing work on instagram!

Roadkill

The first in a series of upcoming ambient soundscapes built on a large catalog of field recordings from the past year. An old vinyl player, destroyed, distorted, and rebuilt into a horrible beast of invention creates an ambient soundscape through 30's big band music. An old keyboard simulates a grand orchestra, now in disarray.

As Venatroxsound evolves into a duo featuring long-time collaborator Stagnation, production and workflow has also evolved. Now with FL Studio full version at our disposal, more complex, diverse, and detailed projects such as this single are expected to arise. For All Suns is the summation of all that Venatroxsound has accumulated to this point, months of work and frustration have produced this bizarre hybrid of post-rock, ambient, drone and modern classical. This track is dedicated to our experimental music discord server and their refusal of our constant use of the phrase "modern classical".

Year Of COVID

Constructed entirely from found recordings of old, cheap keyboards designed as toys for children. As these keyboards glitched, cracked, and sputtered, they were recorded and then layered and looped to create something of a borderline tape-like electroacoustic nature. A zuzupet and a detuned ukulele also play a small role. While Boards of Canada reminisce about childhood nostalgia through old analog synths, we recall it from the inconsistences and chaos of everyday toys of the past. Keep in mind that I'm not being totally serious here. Enjoy.
