A duo from Serbia, formed in 2019 by Vera Strelets and Valerii Strelets.
Venera is a writer, composer, poet, vocalist, pianist, and illustrator. In her youth, she graduated from a music school with a focus on piano. 
Valerian is a composer, poet, trumpeter, saxophonist, and vocalist. He graduated from the  Jazz Department of the St. Petersburg Music College with a specialization in Artist, Conductor, and Orchestra Leader. 
The duo operates a small studio in their home near the city of Sombor, Serbia, where they work on their material. They have a deep appreciation for vintage music formats such as vinyl, cassette tapes, and CDs. In their studio, they have a vinyl record-cutting machine, which they use for their creative purposes.
Between 2019 and 2023, Venera & Valerian recorded and released one EP album titled "Across The Cosmos" and one LP album titled "Killer."
The duo explores various genres, including rock, pop, electronic, ambient, and symphonic music.
In mid-2023, Venera completed a science fiction novel titled "Seven Galaxies: Forced Journey." Inspired by this novel, the duo created a two-acts science fiction suite for a symphonic orchestra with a choir and electronic organ.
Starting in October 2023, the suite will be released on all digital platforms, with one musical number released every two weeks. The libretto for each number will be published here in photos and on other websites of the duo.
