The tracks on TEARDROPS express our sentiments surrounding Black life, death, hypervisibility and refusal as we confront the reality that the club—like the rest of this world—can be a vulnerable space. TEARDROPS comes out of years experimenting with our hybrid DJ/live PA style of performing. Some of the songs are straight-to-tape recordings, others are edits we use in those same sets and one is an original track inspired directly by our experiences in the club.

Emergence is the second collaborative EP of the Global URL Nation. Unlike the previous release Exquisite Corpse, which was a musical transposition of the surrealist literary game, this time participants collaborated without any constraints or instructions.

The release affirms the constituent power of autonomy. It honors both chaos and order as integral parts of creation. From the interplay of 13 artists, randomly grouped, emerge a whole that is stronger than the sum of its parts. With an unpredictable behavior, individual entities collide and coalesce into a heterogeneous assembly, where the accretion of different personalities, tastes and intents composes the outlines of a harmonious body.

Turning the vacuum of liberty into a consensual (im)balance, Emergence seeks to illustrate the value of collective action - an authentic appreciation of self-organization.

Lima's @sacrilejiorecords introduces 'Expiation', the 14-track debut compilation which features artists like El Plvbxy, NAAFI's Wrack, Warmchaiss, El Irreal Veintiuno and more. These artists deconstruct traditional latinx music and combine it with electronic sounds and tools.

'Expiation', which was inspired by mystical thinking and popular devotional culture from our managers and Sacrilejio members, shows an original act of extinguishing mortal sins and dangerous vibes in our souls through music, like tools or objects that can discipline our encrypted and non-purified lives. Connecting our broken relationships with our spirits is gonna be the solution to obtain the forgiveness.
