The idea behind Intimate Club V/A Vol. 1 is to bring together all my inspirations in one space. By celebrating club culture and electronic music, I aim to break down the walls of purism and let everyone experience something truly authentic. This compilation honors human connections, the diversity of gender identities and cultural backgrounds in music. Each sound and rhythm enriche our musical landscape, offering unique perspectives and overflowing creativity.

Mexico City rhythm maestro OMAAR lands on Infinite Machine for his latest missive, Neo Form: five tracks of skeletal, relentless drum workouts.

His sound has never been more optimized than here, as if all his usual elements of UK Funky, Hard Drum, Jungle and Techno had been distilled into a powerful, crystalline concoction primed for the dancefloor.

These tracks are not meant for home listening, but any DJ worth their salt will recognize their immediate power: every last drop of impact and effect has been squeezed from each element, every new hi-hat or hand percussion heightens the intensity of the loop. The tracks are the opposite of progressive; they seem content to stay where they are and placidly explore the grooves’ every crevice and nook.

DJ Plead delivers a unique set of deep and frenetic dance floor tools for his DECISIONS debut. Sumptuous percussion drawn from Plead’s Lebanese background is masterfully arranged to propel the listener into deeply mesmeric rhythmic zones. Equally hypnotic are the vocal and synth loops gleefully entwined throughout the EP, with vibes ranging from slinkily tense (DVE; Get In Circle) to exuberant (Giz) to downright dubby (Lee’s Shuffle). The EP title simultaneously references dancing circles at Lebanese weddings and the anthemic samples of footwork producers such as DJ Roc.
