For its 5th episode, These Tasty Records is back for a new 100% French release by Karaba and Venetia!

Newcomer Venetia takes control of the A side. Led by a sparkling rhythmic, the robotic groove of "To The Future" plunges us into a fantasy between memories of 90's rave warehouses in a marked dystopian aesthetic. Next comes "Sandbox" which takes us back into the OST of our favorite vintage video game and is the perfect element to put a coin in the machine if it was an after party.

Flipping the wax over to Karaba's side, "Zig Zag'' is produced over an ultra-solid beat, accompanied by roaring synths overlaid with sunny leads throughout. What more could one ask for? Finally, "Mood Indigo'' releases the pressure of the EP with a production that inspires deep relaxation. While keeping a mellow tension, the set of phases subtly spaced out will make any dancefloor dreamy.

With his music featured on labels such as Binary Sound, LDE Records, Flagrance Records or Senary French producer Venetia now makes his first outing on Silias Records’ second catalogue number, a four-track comprising various artist EP called Silias & Friends 001. Just like the first release the label delivers four well-chosen cuts that need to be spread and can either be enjoyed loudly at home or over a club’s sound-system. The B2, Venetia’s take The Night, is an Electro-banger par excellence combining the genre-typical creaking bassline with robotic vocals and a short almost balearic-seeming sequence with an e-guitar-influence make it sound as if Daft Punk returned for a minute to break up the floor and bring back those 90 Electro/House-vibes we’ve been craving for ever since we first heard them.

After a first release (Raw Tools Vol.1), representing the team's classic house roots, we are back with a new Various Artists (Virtual Tools Vol.1) meant to showcase the sound identity and signature of the label.

Virtual Tools Vol. 1 is the first episode of our new project, a series of Various Artists digital only releases, in which confirmed and promising artists are exposed.

In this episode, the six-track compilation is strongly influenced by the early 2000s era of raw and blitzing Electro & Progressive House that was back then swinging the Berlin and London underground scenes. Always through a distinctive hybrid approach, we wanted to give birth to six unique tracks shaped for the dancefloor, associating vintage drums and samples with more modern synths, basslines and arrangement, giving to the release a particularly mesmerizing feeling. A feeling meant to state loud and clear our will : to provide DJs with powerful crowd electrification tools.

We truly hope that you will like this release. The artists and ourselves put all our heart to it and we can't wait for you to enjoy it as much as we do !
