The first release of Venom Recordings is decisively marked by the quest for new musical creativity. A common thread which unites the three Venom’s residents Erlin James, Paul Roux and Absence Of Light, as well as the various artists invited to work with them: Dasein, Julien Piacentino, Satom, Against The Time and Memorial Home. By following their own creative path, they shaped a soundscape that blurs the boundaries between dark and melancholic vibes. Both yearned for nostalgia and inspired by the future, all of these artists combine a compelling deep percussion groove with spellbinding dark textures. When their tracks hit the dancefloor, you will be moved by the rolling bassline and pulsating drums. But the distinctive sonic experience of darkness they provide will also awaken the most obscure and dusky emotions buried in you. An ambivalent feeling whose every inch you will savor. An immersive musical trip through which, as Venom conceives it, the listener is also invited to be an artist himself through his own interpretation of sounds.

Over three original tracks the Lyon based duo brandish hypnotic, looping melodies in techno structures with subtle trance references.
