☂️ "Weapons of Resistance" showcases creative ways to fight unfairness, to defend oneself, to act, to be heard. Each volume of the series highlights concrete tools that have been used throughout the world. This volume draws inspiration from the pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong in 2014, where umbrellas became an iconic symbol of the struggle for democracy and freedom of expression. It also explores more recent events in Lyon, where umbrellas were used by protesters to evade drones.
