Originally formed as a band named Vermont, which captivated audiences in Naples during the early 2000s with a vibrant mix of covers and original compositions, Ver Mont has since evolved into the solo endeavor of the group's former lead singer and guitarist. Now rooted in Washington D.C., after an enriching journey through diverse cultural landscapes—including London, Brussels, Rome, Istanbul, and Tunis—Ver Mont continues to bloom creatively.

This project draws deeply from a rich tapestry of musical influences, with a strong foundation in British Rock from the vibrant '80s and '90s eras, seamlessly blending in elements of electronic music and Grunge. What sets Ver Mont apart, however, is its embrace of the eclectic and unexpected—from the haunting allure of trip hop to the infectious energy of dance music.

Ver Mont's inspiration stems from a constellation of iconic groups and artists, such as the provocative storytelling of Suede and Brett Anderson, the poetic jangle of The Smiths with Johnny Marr and Morrissey, the gritty allure of Stone Temple Pilots and Scott Weiland, the chameleonic genius of David Bowie, and the electronic-infused rock of IAMX/Sneaker Pimps, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Strangelove, The Cure, Travis, Placebo, and Electronic. Additionally, the project is enriched by a diverse array of non-English influences, including the nuanced sounds of 24Grana, Raiz, Mango, Victor Tsoy, Kent, Teoman, and Juli, each contributing unique flavors to Ver Mont's musical palette.
