Verbal Vortex is an aspiring conscious hip hop artist whose diversity separates him from the mainstream. His ability to deliver heartfelt messages using intricate wordplay has captivated the attention of many demographics. This elite storyteller converts persuasive writing into technical lyricism, turning personal hardships to motivational speeches and global trauma to inspirational teachings. A dedicated artist who paints a picture with words and connects so many different subjects that his music becomes a mosaic. 

Being in the heart of the chaos has always been the desire. His extensive travels overseas in troubled and remote areas deeply motivated him to raise awareness through rhythmic poetry. Opening the eyes of many and giving a voice to others. His debut album, Paradigm Shift, contains an abundance of personal stories and controversial topics that arose from his time abroad. 

The Canadian rapper was born just outside of Montreal but spent most of his come up in the small northern Alberta town of Peace River. While learning English, he was mesmerized by lyrical hip hop and the art of strategic rhyming, which led him to pick up a pen and paper in his teenage years. The more his knowledge and vocabulary expanded, the more complex his lyrics and rhyme schemes got. His drive to continuously experiment, develop, and broaden his style has substantially increased his versatility.  

The name Verbal Vortex was chosen to best represent his mastery of articulation in both French and English, but he is more than just a fast bilingual rapper. His talents bring a wide range of unique capabilities that enhance the dynamics of his craft. The numerous tones and voices, the unorthodox verse structures, the slow and melodic to supersonic flows, are just a few of many.

From parties in Alberta and bars in Ontario to festivals in B.C. and clubs in Quebec, 
Double V has been performing on stages across the country for the last 3 years and opening for headliners such as Madchild. 

Vortex has plenty of unreleased music and will soon be unloading a barrage of content in the upcoming year. The progression and growth that he has shown since his debut album has both him and his fans itching for that new and improved sound to emerge from the isolated valley!
