Muzi Tembe AKA "TonicMotion" is an AmaPiano and deep house super producer, from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He's known for pushing the boundaries of the Amapiano sound into new realm which is dubbed "Private School Piano".

For The Love Of...Erykah Badu
Definitely an artist known for being unapologetically bold and unique, Erykah Badu is part of a few gifted artists and producers credited for establishing the "neo soul" genre in the early 90s. Her abstract music has occasionally been likened to live poetry. This conscious songstress went on to quickly sign her first record deal after opening for D’Angelo back in 1994.
She continues to push and define musical barriers by fusing RnB, hip hop and jazz elements. Miss Badu is credited for ohrwurms like the Brown Sugar soundtrack “Love Of My Life (Ode to Hip Hop)", "Apple Tree”, "On and On”, "Bag Lady” and “Tyrone”. Dubbed as the Queen and First Lady of Neo Soul, she has received critical acclaim from the industry's stakeholders and fellow artists alike.

Over the past two decades, Miss Erykah Badu has garnered numerous music awards and nominations including a Grammy in 2000. Besides her multiple albums, Erykah has also been featured alongside reputable artists such as Zap Mama, Flying Lotus, Q-Tip, Bonobo, Tyler the creator, Janelle Monae just to name a few.

"For The Love Of... “ is a newly established event series that consists of DJ sessions and live showcases celebrating the love for music and paying homage to some of the greatest legends the music industry has brought forth.

ARTIST INFO:

KAMI AWORI (CaramelBrown/GENEVA/PARIS)
Our sterling live performers this time around are a young, promising female duo from Paris. Awori (singer-songwriter) and Karami (pianist turned producer) make up the duo Kami Awori formerly known as CaramelBrown.
Their music is a mix between minimalist Electro Soul, Hip Hop & Afro–Caribbean percussions.
Galvanised by the reception of their debut EP "ESQUISSES", the duo embarked on a European tour with singer DENA.
Upon their return, they produced #THROWBACK, a compilation of laidback remixes with a contemporary vibe. Following its release, their rendition of Kendrick Lamar's "Swimming Pools" was featured on blogs in & out of Switzerland namely JOIZ TV, Reprezent.ch & Dynamic Africa.
The globetrotting twosome then recorded their third EP, "CARAMELBROWN Y VIA LIBRE", with a Cuban collective in Havana. The visuals for their single "Pinot In The Grass" won an Award of Merit at the Los Angeles IndieFEST Film Awards as well as Best Music Video at the Berlin Independent Film Festival.
Kami Awori is currently working on their debut album, "CHAOS", created between New York, Berlin, Kampala & Bamako, and is set to be released later on this year.
