Joining us on our next podcast is Mysteries of the Deep founder Grant Aaron, who began the New York-based project in 2011 as a podcast and event series for ambient and experimental music, hosting the likes of Neel and Patrick Russell, before expanding it to a label in 2017. In true form Grant has provided us with a mostly-ambient mix, an hour which evolves patiently and profoundly over its course. Grant covers grand territory with his selections, dealing in sparse instrumentation, sweeping drones, and pared-down percussion, weaving these elements into a moving and cohesive whole. NoSuchThing is the nom de plume of Henk Schutten from the Netherlands.
Schutten started making his mixes this year showing deep knowledge and refined taste for deep ambient electronic music which he gained during the last ten years.
His track ’Splendid Isolation’, marking the end of this special mix, was produced during the recent Corona-lockdown.

Dubtechno has the capability to connect with your innerself. Listening to it has to be done in nature, late night at home or in your headphone . Some tracks have the length to immerse yourself into them. Especially the long and extended track versions.  They can go to around 20 minutes or maybe longer. To capture this I have selected a few tracks with a length of 10 minutes and longer.  Normally they are mixed in  shorter bits but this time I have tried to give them a full glimpse of there rhythmic and pulsation sounds these dubtechno tracks have. So enjoy.

Noelia Rodríguez - Nono - is one of the most important musical curators in spain.
From the DelicaListen platform, of which she is also a director, she has curated concerts and audiovisual projects for events such as MUTEK or L.E.V. In addition, she has also programmed the DNIT cycle at the Caixa Forum in Barcelona bringing artists such as Ben Frost, Tim Hecker or Andy Stott. To all this we must add her work as a vinyl collector, from the age of 8, and a selector, going through this last facet, among others, the almighty Burning Man in 2006.

Welcome to the 304th Chapter of the Deep Electronics serie. A weekly released serie that brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This week D_Fected makes is debut with a nice DnB set.

Bio:
The love and passion for electronic music base his musical taste
between house - minimalism and techno, with great influence on British
big beat and rock from the late 90s.
Part of the electronic music scene in the coffee axis - Colombia with-no
desire to star, being defined as an interesting and restless musical
selector since 2006.
He has created collectives such as Pereirastyle 2006 - Underground
beats 2007 - Bass factory 2011 and currently Ataraxis since 2017.
Promoter of an alternative growing scene since 2004 in Pereira city
and his hometown Santa Rosa de Cabal, opened to listen the
underground sounds of the time and today are reflected in
a strengthened scene with musical diversity.

This mix reflects a duality from the tranquility and pride of a literature
nobel over an expectant ambient sound, to the harsh reality of
