2. Sofia Ribeiro is known in the artistic world as System Sophie. Her project arose from a curiosity to explore the sounds and possibilities of electronic instruments, especially synthesizers.
Her artistic practice is based on experimentation, using synthesizers, virtual instruments, recordings, and generative instruments to create soundscapes that blend styles such as ambient, experimental, drone, and generative music. The goal is to create a unique listening experience, reflecting moods and personal experiences.
Her music is a constant search for new forms of expression, and each project is an opportunity to explore and expand the boundaries of electronic music, creating a visceral and unique communication with the audience.
