Two decades ago this UK Dance hit took the world by storm and now Verglas have put their creative spin on it.  It's a unique reinterpretation that melds together old skool sound selection/retro-future synths, organic instrumentation and swirling guitars - nothing from the original was sampled and it's a complete, contemporary re-imagining!  Bask in the sonic nostalgia and let this harmonic homage drift you away to yesteryear!!

FREE DOWNLOAD: In honor of the 25th anniversary of Homework, Verglas was compelled to pay homage to the revolutionary dance track of yesteryear, Around The World. All instrumentation was originally created and surprisingly the only part they've sampled is the iconic vocal hook that's quintessential and a must keep!  They enhance the funk and revere the robot duo of Daft Punk, with intricate guitar riffs and a reinvigorating musical arrangement!!

Konnichiwa! This is the first of 3 Ethno Techno tracks that we are releasing, as part of Verglas' Across the World EP.  First up, we're excited to welcome you to Neo-Kyoto!  Nestled in the shadow of Mount Kurama and steps away from a Cyberpunk vision of Fushimi Inari, you start to hear the ancient call of a Koto that beckons you to a higher plane of sonic existence.  The hard-hitting percussion, thumping bass, and spectral synths have been designed to transport you to this cinematic future Japanese utopia, where the streets are lined with automatons and humans alike.  Step into Club Neo-Kyoto and lose yourself in the spellbinding soundscapes that fill the room. You hear a robot voice chime and an electric guitar ring out - Hajimemsahite!
