LIGHTS OUT opens a new chapter. We are launching a new radiocast series where you can discover mixes from our guests and friends. The first mix was recorded by the very talented Ukrainian producer, AIKON.🇺🇦 This summer, he performed in Kaunas with Kölsch. Take your time and enjoy this beautiful mix, which features some very cool unreleased tracks.

Ukrainian producer/dj AIKON has been making waves with a steady stream of acclaimed releases, dropping records on labels such as Diynamic, Multinotes, Disco Halal, Exploited & Monaberry. His music is a haunting, hypnotic mix of melodic house, breakbeats with a slight twist of a little afro vibes in there. Solomun, Dixon, AME, Pete Tong, Black Coffee, Sasha, John Digweed and Keinemusik are regular supporters of his tracks and are usually the first ones to test his new demos to a large audience. This has led to new song collaborations with Re.You , Pongo, Sobek, Radeckt. Aikon tracks break records top charts beatport and now Aikon is in the top Indie Dance and Electronica artists Beatport many years. The Seekers of Light ADE '25 - Beard2Beard

Bridging African vocals and essence with deep melodic tunes. A delicate balance between my African roots and the complex layers of music that electronica brings. This is a set for quiet reflection and the occasional urge to get down and boogie, just a little. 

A lot of these tracks I played this summer at Grand Africa on the beach here in South Africa. Perfect venue to reflect and take things all in.

Bridges

Veridium’s signature is radical versatility and music that is mercurial and maverick. His genres are primarily Techno, Deep House, Progressive House and Downtempo. 

But above all else, Veridium loves to tell a story. 
“Each set should be a unique musical experience,” he says. 
"Expect to drop in deep at the beginning and fall out at the end with the sense that time has escaped you." 

This journey began at AfrikaBurn 2016 and since then Veridium has played on the biggest stages at AfrikaBurn. In 2019 earning a residency on The Spirit Train and playing alongside Bellville, Dandara, Vander and Offroad. 

An invitation to play in Nuremburg, Germany with NASTY in January 2019 was a brilliant opportunity to showcase his unique sound to an international audience. 

Now firmly established within the Cape Town underground electronic music scene and playing at well-established venues, parties and festivals. These include Wonderland, Make- Believe, and Goldswindler. With a residency for the last three summers at Grand Africa this has allowed for Veridium to hone his downtempo skills.
