Aglaia Rave is a music producer from Bad Oeynhausen, Germany who also owns cosmosradio.de and Etymologie Radioshow.
She first encountered music at the age of 16, thanks to her brother, and developed an interest in electronic music by listening to artists like Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Fischer-Z, Pink Floyd, and Front 242. In 2012, Aglaia started working at an Italian radio station, and in 2013, she launched her own radio station, Deephouseparade. Although the station went on a brief hiatus, it returned in 2016 as cosmosradio.de, which continues to delight audiences around the world with its programs and recordings. Cosmosradio.de plays music in a variety of styles, including House, Deephouse, Progressive house, Melodic house, and Techno. Aglaia Rave has been featured on many online radio stations, including TM-Radio, Etymologie, UGM Radio (RUS), Elbrusradio (RUS), ART RADIO SL, Hits4You.fm, Enycyclopedia by Leo Baroso, TheDeeproom Beachgrooves Radio Ibiza 101. FM, Proton Radio, and more.
Aglaia Rave's sets feature beautiful blends and precise mixing that can put listeners into a hypnotic groove. The audience at cosmosradio.de continues to grow, and Aglaia Rave has gained respect in the music industry. Welcome to the 2nd episode of Sonic Interlude

For this episode I have uploaded a recent live mix recorded at Bauhaus Houston on the 24th May 2024 to open up for the masterful Brazilian Afro house producer / DJ - MAZ( BR). 

I wanted to create a welcoming atmosphere and opened up with some softer tones to ease the dancers into the night ahead. It was a super fun set to play, guided by feeling and what I perceived the audience would enjoy - interesting textures and deep bass-lines. 

Enjoy the magical journey, I hope it transports you to a parallel dimension.

Hailing from Aotearoa/New Zealand, James Martin is a DJ and producer now based in Melbourne, Australia. This mix is a homage to my favorite nature escape - The You Yangs.
The You Yangs Regional Park is part of an Aboriginal cultural landscape in the traditional Country of the Wadawurrung People.
It's a very special place which I try to go to as often as possible. Its home to a geoglyph of Bunjil, a Dreamtime creator deity to some of the Indigenous people of Victoria, depicted as an wedge-tailed eagle. 
From the top of the mountain you can look down upon Bunjil which is nestled in the surrounding gumtree forest and the ancient Western Volcanic Plains which stretch out as far as the eye can see. In the distance you can faintly make out the Melbourne city skyline which is where I live. 
It always resets me coming to this place, recharges my creativity and settles my soul.
I hope you enjoy my love letter to the You Yangs."

Lobo has LIFE.... 

When I left AfrikaBurn last year I knew I wanted to play on that Spirit. I was not sure how I was going to do it but the intention was strong and if you are going to learn anything about The Burn, it is that intention is the key to achieving in that magical space. I asked to play and Michael Kennedy said yes! I still reel from that when I write this and I will be forever grateful and in awe for the opportunity given.

As Lobo announced his arrival at Hauptbahnhof Station the atmosphere was electric. People walking in from all directions, the expectation was huge! All I wanted to do was get it going but I was forced to wait and in turn to soak it all in as the crew were plugging in to the sound system at the station. We were going to be playing off a full surround sound setup that was almost certainly going to blow your heart clean into the stratosphere. Eventually what seemed like an eternity my gear was plugged in and I sit here still in disbelief as to if it really happened. 

One of the best experiences of my life. Truly a dream come true to feel the movement of everyone on that perfect Wednesday night.  saw on the desert dance tears, laughter and love.

There is something about the Tankwa that changes the music in some way or form I cannot describe. It sounds better, it feels more, it becomes magic. Is it because we are in place that predates the dinosaurs? This is an old place and whatever it is, it changes what we feel and how sound travels. Fuller, richer, more beautiful... 

My expectations ended up being meaningless because I was living the unimaginable. 
I loved playing alongside that Spirit that is Lobo.

Marsh & Jesse Bullitt - Ritual [OUT NOW]

Veridium’s signature is radical versatility and music that is mercurial and maverick. His genres are primarily Techno, Deep House, Progressive House and Downtempo. 

But above all else, Veridium loves to tell a story. 
“Each set should be a unique musical experience,” he says. 
"Expect to drop in deep at the beginning and fall out at the end with the sense that time has escaped you." 

This journey began at AfrikaBurn 2016 and since then Veridium has played on the biggest stages at AfrikaBurn. In 2019 earning a residency on The Spirit Train and playing alongside Bellville, Dandara, Vander and Offroad. 

An invitation to play in Nuremburg, Germany with NASTY in January 2019 was a brilliant opportunity to showcase his unique sound to an international audience. 

Now firmly established within the Cape Town underground electronic music scene and playing at well-established venues, parties and festivals. These include Wonderland, Make- Believe, and Goldswindler. With a residency for the last three summers at Grand Africa this has allowed for Veridium to hone his downtempo skills.
