We actually first met many years ago at MMADJ where his love for techno brought him over from Northern Ireland to Manchester for a studio session and even from early on it was easy to see his love for hard pounding Techno would take him for in the industry. 

Many years later after releases on @somarecords @djrebekah label, @momentsintimerecords and now starting his own label is brilliant to have him on the show.

Lady Maru is a Rome-born, now Berlin-based, electronic producer and post-punk musician. She began her career as a noise guitarist in post-punk and no wave bands, later transitioning into DJing at clubs and underground raves. Throughout her career, she’s consistently aimed to fuse two key influences: art-punk and techno. Her current sound, both as a producer and DJ, is rooted in dirty techno, often blending acid, industrial, tribal, and hardcore elements. Known for her dynamic and high-energy sets, Lady Maru is also a resident at Cieloterra in Rome, where she hosts a monthly event featuring faster, harder sounds.

Little is known about mysterious producer SP-X. After a string of quality releases on Komisch, Time To Express, and PROJEKTS, the Brussels-based artist has garnered a strong following for his rolling techno sound. The enigmatic producer now joins Matt Edwards’ Rekids Special Projects roster, following on from releases by DJ Spider, Jon Hester, DJ Deep, FBK and Dustin Zahn among others. 

An amalgamation of metallic hits, powerful drums and plucky arpeggios commence the package in ‘Dystopian Lotus’ before the fast paced ‘Breaths Of Separation’ offers a rumbling low-end, frenzied atmospherics and cosmic chords. 

‘The Orbiter’ delivers distorted top lines and a thundering kick on the flip, backed by mysterious sirens and resonant synth blips until the package rounds off with ‘Desire Of Invisibility’, a high-octane finish with sharp, organic percussion and a vacillating sub alongside stereo delayed stabs.

Andromeda is a London based artist and a resident of the infamous 24-hour institution, FOLD in London. Heavily influenced by acid, electro and industrial techno, her sets focus on the darker side of the spectrum driven by unrelenting drums, heavy basslines and punishing synths. She has become a regular fixture in the underground techno scene and has established a reputation for annihilating dance floors across the capital. Gaining recognition across the UK and further afield, she has shared the stage with artists such as Karenn, Bas Mooy, UVB, Stephanie Sykes and Dax J.

Red Ophis is a resident of MOTZ collective based in Berlin, London, and Ireland, and founder of Synthapise, a nonprofit event for animal rights causes. She is a regular to the London scene with a library that ranges from ethereal infused sonics to pure industrial techno madness, landing her to support acts such as Codex Empire, Dahlia, Axel Picodot, RVDE, Remco Beekwilder, XIK, OAKE and more. Prior to this recently established alias her vocals also featured on End Train’s “The Day I Didn’t Want to Wake Up” which was released on Code Is Law.

Rough, Uncompromising, Edgy and Powerful.. this is the sound of the duo AnD.

Originally from Greece and Ireland, Dimitri and Andrew have been working relentlessly on their sound for many years, being able to define a own and very characteristic style that has a beautiful old school touch in it.

Their first GIG as AnD duo was a Berghain, which for sure set a strong kick starter for their musical journey. 

After that, they have toured all around the world and being at the same time very prolific, production wise. 

Until now they released on Electric Deluxe, Repitch, Perc Trax, Blac Sun just to name a few, and they own two labels. One called AND itself which by the way comes from the initial of the names of the two founders Andrew and Dimitri and communicates simplicity and minimalism. The second label is called Surface Music.

In the next months they have 2 new important records coming out, and an Album in mid 2021. I also want to thank them for their big old school remix they did for myself and Paolo, which just came out recently on HEX005 Breaking Into Nirvana. Proper Bomb.
