The 4 tracks of "Quantum Index" are inspired by the contemporary experimental electronic music scene happening in the UK and have a strong sci-fi direction. Using a combination of digital and modular equipment Imaginary Part creates a work of the highest elegance.
The Ep opens with "Inertial Frames" that builds up emotionally to "Acufene”, a track in constant climax with a rich and complex frequency spectrum. The space in which the listener is immerse feels alien and familiar at the same time, mixed feelings are rising and eventually landing on comfortable ground in the track that follows: “Femki". Femki is an enjoyable piece structured on a catchy rhythm yet melancholic and with a digital coldness at the core. Experiencing such a tune feels like the most genuine moment of the record - beauty and remembrance - then the final "Void End", ethereal synthetic release of this journey.

Imaginary Part (alias Davide Cuoghi) is an Italian-born, Manchester-based sound artist who works between live performance, music production and sound design. His productions, which range within the broad spectrum of IDM, electronic and downtempo, have been released on Museek and Rhythm Lab. He has performed live at Red Light Radio, Outer Festival and Reform Radio, where he currently hosts a monthly residency.

The sympathetic sound in “One Year Of” is a collection of music pieces from Various Artists active in Berlin. This compilation explores within a broad spectrum the possibilities of music making, while being a united feeling.
The listener is immersed in eerie atmospheres and new unexplored spaces, a direct reflection of the inevitability of relocation for the Artists and their practice during this year of closure.

"wewerelost” is a four tracks ambient tape, a sonic journey in Berlin’s lockdown winter. Within the City’s grey shadows hope and terror are resonating, modulating each other. There is nowhere to go but to contemplate still and imagine, contemplate cars passing by the studio’s window like waves at the seashore..

This record features a combined production between Emme and Simone Antonioni where they bring together their sound hallucinations.

Emme’s release open with the title track “wewerelost”. Six minutes of rising intensity, distant screaming synths (are they calling for help?) until a warm pad kicks in bringing spring like sequences and an open field where to take a rest. It follows “Enjoy the Void”, a song that encounters many spaces while contemplating a fall, psychedelic and surreal yet modern and sincere, it captures the spirit of the recordings.

-Certain sounds exist to be experienced in their free form and makes questions where no answer is needed-

The work reaches artistic maturity in “End of the Night”, a stretched melodic ambient track that opens as a cloudy aurora. There is a grainy promise in this sound, the full orchestra of synths is playing in between gloriousness and enigmas, then exhausts an emotional drive that fades into “the Search”, closing track that calls for joy and playfulness. Here the Artist is collecting sounds from an abandoned building and mixes them with soft pads and arpeggios to generate a kind, nostalgic memory.

I said this time I would stay away from the chairs game. I wonder where my friends are??! Sometimes it’s so easy and when it is easy it doesn’t mean it’s bad, or unfinished, maybe you can just make good things rather quick.. someone says hi on the streets I don’t even remember their face, Hey Hey, is it always the sound that finds you, not the other way round?

ALOW is the fourth project of CATALOGUE OF DISGUISE, a fashion movie directed by Tanja Bombach, a hallucinatory nightmare characterized by pervasive anxiety, loss of control and trepidation luring under the surface of three different escapist encounters. This underground tale explores feelings of restlessness and overstimulation in a fragmented way. It examines uncertainty as a collective state of mind, simultaneously haunted by notions of a lost past and anticipated future.

ALOW (Original Soundtrack From The Motion Picture) is composed by Simone Antonioni, a Berlin-based artist who releases electronic music, publishes art material and performs live. In recent years Simone worked on a variety of multidisciplinary projects at the intersection of avant-garde music, experimental club scene, fashion, dance and performance. Most notably is the ongoing collaboration with CATALOGUE OF DISGUISE, in which Simone Antonioni produced the soundtrack for the short film HAZE (2020) and ALOW (2022). Other projects released by the artist are: Loss (as Unfolded Memories) (2020), Music for Encaje (2021), A BODY WITHOUT FATIGUE (2021) and FRAGILE (2022).

Daniel Cherney's EP "Excerpts from Earthly Narratives" speaks of organic beauty through handpicked sonic elements selected with a reductive approach. The artist creates a record that resembles an immersive earthly delight, as if the listener is participating in the unfolding events of a Hieronymus Bosch painting, invited into a lustful environment that is not free of mystery, oddities and contradictions. While "Animal Valour" opens as an aesthetic statement, "What is a Year" unveils a fascinating chromatic complexity of sound events that resemble more "beings" than printed waves. It is as if they are telling their own stories that were heard and recorded by the artist, who functions as a vessel. With "Engines Hearts," we get closer to the human element of this record, as it opens with a saxophone solo that crosses paths with a chord pattern from a piano, proposing an impressionistic musical duet that evokes our relationship with nature, but here as a memory. The EP's orchestration pinnacle is in "Relief in Disappointment," where all the elements from previous songs come together, animated by strings, to create a blissful ending.

An ode to gentleness.

The glasses on my serving tray fall to the ground; they scatter in shards of stalagmites like frozen tears cascading in slow motion, sinking into glacial depths. ‘Scusa’ materializes in the hollow of my throat, it is pushed forth outward to the world and into the clutches of an otherwise languid, now open-mouthed customer, their eyes wide and shaken by the drama. Sensational. I say that I am sorry but I am not.

After years of moving through the world in a “sorrier, more apologetic way” and of working in service to others, the release of SCUSA offers catharsis and healing for Menguzzato. A quiet liberation, a reckoning.

Agnese Menguzzato is an Italian composer and musician based in Berlin. Trained in both violin and the renaissance lute, she then studied sound engineering in Napoli.

Drawing on historical and contemporary technologies, Menguzzato’s practice intertwines past and current techniques to explore the sonic prospects of the present, often employing the auditory potential of the lute.

Menguzzato’s musical expression is deeply rooted in her childhood imagery and in confrontation with nature, from which every human sentiment flows. Having lived between Trentino Alps and Emilia-Romagna Apennines, she’s driven towards the construction of emotive soundscapes gathered from the material and digital worlds.

Engaging in various musical constellations, Menguzzato has collaborated and performed with musicians such as Sara Persico, FRANKIE, and Soho Rezanejad.

Simone Antonioni is a Berlin-based artist who releases electronic music, produces sound design and design items. Simone engages in multidisciplinary projects at the intersection of electronic music, fashion, and performance.

Notably, the artist contributed to sound design for fashion houses and media such as Miu Miu, Moncler, VOGUE CS (2023-2024) and collaborated with CATALOGUE OF DISGUISE, creating soundtracks for fashion films ALOW (2022) and HAZE (2020). Simone has recently been awarded Best Sound Design at ASVOFF 16 (2024) for his work in Tyra's Galieva short fashion film "Work drains my soul, but i love it". Other projects by the artist include the concert series at the Volksbühne "VERLAG VAULT" (2024 - ongoing), the track "Amnesia of Loves" (released on Unguarded, 2023), Lucille Verne Ep (as Unfolded Memories, 2023), FRAGILE (2022), the soundtrack for Judith Sanchez's dance performance "Encaje for Ten,” titled “Music For Encaje'' (2021), the longsleeve shirt A BODY WITHOUT FATIGUE (2021), and the performance and music release Loss ~ Sauda (as Unfolded Memories) (2020). He received funding from Musicboard Berlin in 2023 (Labelförderung) and Musikfonds in 2022, Stipendienprogramm (Stip-II).

In 2019, Simone co-founded Verlag, a platform for music curation, literature, and clothing. Verlag functions as both a music label and digital archive for in-house projects and events.
