Arkada records is happy to present the 041 episode of our podcast series this month mixed and selected by a close friend to us ,the very talented Dj and producer a co owner of the well respected  Viennese label Yoshi_Records  - Moxx.
We are very excited to welcome Oli Funkroom and present to our followers his amazing skills behind the decks and a stunning Electro selection from various of great artists in this lovely mix he created for us.
For all Electro music lovers this is something you shouldn’t miss .
Bio:
Living in Vienna Moxx has been part of the DJ-Collective Funkroom and organising monthly club nights with international guests focusing on the Electro music.He also run a Viennese pure vinyl label - Yoshi Records together with rol:e. He is also part of a radio collective that hosts a monthly show focusing on the club culture and related topics at a local radio station.
Beside his Dj ing and producing Oli is also into the gaming industry with sound design and he also studied audio engineering.

Sabed Que Mi Niña Ya Siempre Va Conmigo

For the debut release of Eternal Ocean, Ronan weaves the story of a personal search for meaning, a pull at the loose thread in the woven blanket of reality. In empty urban landscapes and serene natural environments he began to find clues to some kind of inner doorway. In these moments of inquisitive solitude, there seemed to be a ‘way inside’, the beginnings of a path towards understanding, towards peace. In discovering the trance of communal dancing he realized that many answers could be found somewhere between the soundsystem and its operator. Maybe it was in the subwoofer, as the rumblings began to reshape the patterns of his feet, or the frequency of the top speakers as they sympathetically vibrated his inner ear. In these spaces there seemed to exist some connection to a universal feeling, a shared experience that went beyond the rave, beyond history, beyond bodies, there lied something there, something intangible but existent nonetheless. ‘Prolongez La Magie’ is about following those feelings of exploration and listening to the voice of your inner child, your deepest ally. It is about keeping those special memories in your heart, and extending that wonder and excitement of the imagined, the fantastic and the unexplainable into all facets of your life.

Francois Dillinger : "I heard this original of this track for the first time in a Dave Clarke live mix that I bought from someone at a rave who had burned it on CD. A few years later when I finally started dj’ing I looked for a copy on vinyl and eventually paid $50 for it on eBay. It remains, to this day, to be one of the best uses of my money ever—a true investment. We all know Rother has had an unmatched impact on the genre we love, but this track in particular changed the course of my musical journey and still inspires me to this day. Thanks to the stems included on the vinyl I was able to deconstruct this wonder and put my spin on it.  Big thanks to @anthony-rother for all you’ve done to push me forward and to Dave Clarke for playing this track and forever changing my life as an artist."
