Vernisage is a Copenhagen based trio founded in 2011 consisting of drums, piano and saxophone. Their first release will be a unique App for Iphone with improvisations.  Vernisage is jazz – unmistakably – but draws from a wide palette of inspirations with a spontaneous awareness. You can hear Shostakovich-like melodic and harmonic shapes, Coltrane-like spiritual abstraction combined with a nordic folk music tone.
