In honor of Mother's Day, I am sharing this new song - a work very much in progress that has emerged from my at-home music production endeavors. Mother's Day can bring up a lot for many of us. Emotion, pain, grief, longing, perhaps even wishing things could be different.... If that's you today, then this is for you. And this is dedicated to our mothers who's souls continue their journey beyond this life. Whatever else happened or didn't happen, mom gave me LIFE! For that I can only be eternally thankful. Thank you for everything you are, for all you gave us, for all you sacrificed, and for handing down the scrolls from your ancestors for us and our own children to carry, for now. Wishing everyone peace and joy and a deep sense of appreciation this Mother's Day.

Baby It's Cold Outside

Soulful, enchanting songs, rich vocal stylings, and powerful, magical presence. Veronica Malki picked up the guitar and began to write her first songs at the age of 21 during a year abroad in Granada, Spain. Three years later, she assembled a band in San Jose, CA and recorded her first studio album, Listening (2010). In 2012, Veronica transplanted to Seattle, WA and practiced as a birth doula while continuing to sing and taking root in her new creative communities. Veronica's second studio release, To The Sound From The Bay, is a solo EP  recorded at BOC Studios in Seattle. It releases everywhere September 14, 2018.
