Hi! I’m Veronica Olmos — a vocalist, percussionist, songwriter and educator born in Argentina. My musical journey began in 2004, deeply rooted in the sounds of Argentine folk and tango — the music I grew up with. 

Then, my travels to Brazil and Uruguay opened a whole new world for me. I fell in love with the energy and spirit of rhythms like candombe, maracatu, coco, and MPB, and spent years diving into Latin American percussion and vocal traditions. 

At the same time, I was drawn to the freedom and complexity of jazz, that led me to study Vocal Jazz at the Escuela de Música Popular de Avellaneda. Blending jazz with South American folklore became the heart of my sound. 

Since then, I’ve shared my music in many countries like Brazil, Uruguay, Spain, The Netherlands, Germany and Austria. Whether I’m performing, composing, or teaching, my goal is always the same: to celebrate the rich traditions of South America and create bridges through music and cultural exchange.
