Home For Christmas (rough draft recording...complete with bronchitis!)

Going home for Christmas to the town where we both lived
I know things are over, but it don't feel like the end
Sleeping in the guest room, instead of in your arms
Will you think of me, even though we're states apart?

We danced around with our eyes closed
And watched snow fall out the window
Hopeful in our big, empty apartment
We didn't know then, and sometimes I'm still not even sure now

You get lost within your own secret ambitions

Veronika Michelle is a San Francisco Bay Area native who has been writing music recreationally off and on for over 10 years. She has written for and fronted local bands A Blackjack Victory and Noonday Reckoning, as well as performed solo over the years. 

These songs are rough draft recordings, most of which were written in her dorm during active duty Army training.
