Marching into 2018 with serious intent: Monaberry reveal the first release of the year and it’s a biggie. Coming courtesy of new Hungarian artist Mulya, each of his three originals smack with energy, theatre and that powerful sense of storytelling that the Halle house HQ has made its signature.

‘Brick Talks’ strides with dramatic momentum and intention has heavily, cleverly layered percussion bounces back and forth with a tribal swing. Gradually building the groove, things take a wild switch when the vocal cry comes in and sweeps your dancefloor off their collective feet. Complete with a drum-focused hypno-grooved remix from Sobek, ‘Brick Talks’ breaks down more walls than its name suggests.

Elsewhere ‘Favilla’ reinterprets drama in much more of an entrancing way as waves of chords dance and hover majestically over a more stripped back driving arrangement. Finally ‘Nolan’ flips the switch with a chugging blaze of mbira hypnosis. Peppered with cinematic piano strikes, momentum is controlled with more layered atmospheres before a spellbinding breakdown causes soul meltdown on the spot.

Brand new to Monaberry. Brand new to you. What better way to start the new year than with a new artist who we suspect we’ll be hearing a lot more soon. Welcome to the future!

So exactely one week ago I played at the lovely Bucht der Träumer* Festival on Sunday Funday. After I got up in my tent, really tired, I made my way to the floor and was really happy to see a lot of familiar faces! A reason for this was probably also, that O/Y played his liveset before me, haha, but thank you all for making your way to Atlantis at this special time :)

This set is a colourful Darko-Day Set influenced by good artist I met in the past months and very different genres like disco, techno, glitchhop & slowrave. Really hope you like and enjoy it!
And again in my set happend unexpected things. May some of you noticed this really cool emergency loop for a little eternity :D My Stick didn't have a signal for a while so I had to grab my second stick and look for a new track on the third player! I felt free to cut the loop out of the set.

Thanks to my Crew Rebellion der Träumer* for making such a insane Festival with so much love for details. Thanks to everybody who took part to create this weekend or just joined to get the same experience like me. This sunday was a really special day, probably for all of us. I hope that you all had a beautiful festival and a good recovery week <3

Ebenfalls ist er ein Gründungsmitglied von KataHaifisch und dementsprechend, als Act bei der "Spaced im Mundus" Jubiläumsfeier, mit von der Partie. Musikalisch passt sein favorisierter Stil wie angegossen zum "Planet Umzuweg" und von 02:30-04:30 Uhr, könnt ihr euch dort 
sein Set zu Gemüte führen.

Zusammen mit Martinvanmorgen und der Stadtsäuche hat er die Bassblütentherapie in ins Leben gerufen, eine Partyreihe die mit ausgefallener Deko und feinen musikalischen Leckerbissen die Gäste von jeglichem Übel befreit.
